Chapter 6

The morning sunlight streamed through the windows of Nathan's apartment, casting a warm glow over the room as he settled into his favorite armchair. With a steaming cup of coffee in hand, he opened his laptop and eagerly logged into the dating app, hoping to find a message from Harper waiting for him.

Sure enough, there it was – a notification from Harper, her name lighting up the screen like a beacon of light in the darkness.

"Good morning, Nathan," her message read. "I hope you're having a great day so far."
