I opened my eyes slowly, only to be blinded by the light of the sun. I closed my eyes trying to protect my eyes from the light when suddenly I heard a child's cry out of nowhere. Who's child... Wait! My baby!
I turned to my side even though I felt pain in my lower extremities. I touched the side of my bed but there was nothing there. I abruptly opened my eyes as fear crept on my system. Where could my child be?!
"Shhh! Don't cry baby. Daddy is here. Shhh! Are you hungry now huh? Wait a little bit okay? I'll bring you to your Mom." I heard the voice of my husband as he tried to hush our child.
