I storm out of the club, my mood ruined thanks to a certain someone, or, should I say someones.
If I had known that the night was going to end up like this, I would have just brought Alicia along with me and enjoyed myself completely without the interference of a man.
“You did this to yourself.” I mutter, lifting a hand and hailing a cab. “You were so determined to forget Leo you went out with the first man to show you attention.”
I mean, I was interested in Bernard.
He was nice.
He was polite.
But the side of him that I saw this evening completely turned me off.
I knew that even if he tried to approach me in the future, I wouldn’t have anything to do with him.
