[Rue’s POV]
“You’re right.”
My voice is even as I speak, but my heart hurts, and there is a torrent of emotions rushing through me as I take in my friends advice.
“You’re right.” I repeat as Alicia just stares at me. “I’ll definitely come to a decision.”
“Okay,” she nods. “Now, since you’ve decided to be a big girl and make a choice you should try to get some sleep because I’m certain that you’re tired.”
At her words, my eyes widen and I feel my cheeks flush ferociously.
“I don’t know what you mean.”
“Don’t you?” Alicia asks, waggling her brows. “Do you think I don’t know what the two of you just did?”
I open my mouth to argue, but decide that maybe it is pointless and I simply yawn.
“Man,” I say, stretching. “I sure am tired.”
