“I’m telling you Huri, you didn’t win anyway. Just give up.” She said and flips her hair. Win? Pano ako mananalo na hindi ako sumali? Bobo talaga. I shake my head and smile.

“Oh Lily..Pink outfit. You’re just like a cotton candy.” I said and smiles at her. She just smiles and trying to be cute as f*ck while trying to arrange her ugly pink wig. Oh she thinks it’s a compliment? I’m gonna spill it for you.

“Pink, so sweet and all hot air.” I look at her from head to toe to show her that I don’t have any respect to her and to tell her that she’s out of the elite group of the school.

“You b***h!” She tried to grab my hair but his sugar daddy stops her by holding her shoulders.

“Filler.” I my middle finger and sway it a bit near my face like it was an injection then I look at her from head to toe. Agad nagpanic itong Lily sa sugar daddy niya. Her sugar daddy looks at her, unbelievable. I gasped and try to cover my mouth with my both hands.

“You are her boyfriend?  I thought the American granny in his 50s was your boyfriend? He’s the one we all saw in the parking lot in the school with the SUV Ford. You even call him babe.” The Chinese guy gets mad even more. Lily starts crying and trying to save her surgeries as if this guy would pay it for thousands. “No, Yan. It’s not my boyfriend. She’s lying! No, please don’t leave me!” She bends her knees and trying to make a scene on the market. Girl, don’t you have the thing called dignity and feminism? You’re embarrassing yourself. p****k ka naman eh.

“That’s why you asked for 50k last week?” Oh s**t, 50k ?This girl even had a gut to asked for a money. Mas nagingay pa ang supermarket dahil sa mga chismosang nannonood.

“Pay me back until next week or I’ll sue you.” Oh s**t. Her sugar daddy is mad. Mas umiyak pa si Lily at yakap yakap ang kaliwang tuhod ng lalake. Pathetic as heck.

  Nagmamakaawa ang posit hanggang dumating si Eros. He looked at me confuse and I just give him a poker face as if I didn’t know what the heck happened to them.

 “Hey Kuya Yan, okay kalang?” I turn around and saw Eros with some veggies in his hand. He place it in the cart. He know this guy?

“Sir.” Yan looks embarrass and bows at him. Pinaalis ni Eros ang mga nanonood. Lily stops crying and we both confuse why he bows. Tumayo si Lily at nag bow din.

“You know these people?” I ask and Eros nod.

“He was one of the team leader of our company. Mr. Yan Ling, right? The one in-charge of the marketing?” Eros asked him and Yan just nod so fast.

“I am, Sir. Nice to meet you, Sir.” Nakipagkamayan ito kay Eros. Eros notice the awkward situation.

“May nangyari ba?” Eros asks awkwardly. The dude looks uncomfortable.

“Nagaway kasi ang girlfriend ko at itong babae. They’re both schoolmates.” Yan explain at tumingin kay Lily na parang last meet na nila.

“Girlfriend? Pano na ang misis mo at anak mo?” Eros was shookt! When he heard the girlfriend term. I knew it! She was a sugar baby of this married guy! Yan didn’t look us like he was embarrassed.

“Actually Sir, thanks to this lady. Kung hindi dahil sa kanya, I wouldn’t know how disgusting this person is.” Galit na tumingin ito kay Lily. I slowly flipped my hair to the side ‘because I’m proud of myself even my family aren’t. Well, he deserves to know the truth.

“Bakit ako ha!? Itong Huri na ito naman pumatol sa matandang lalake ah!” She shouts and point fingers on me. I touch my chest with my left hand to make a shocked face.

“Really? He is not that older, in fact. He’s 22, not in 40s.” I said and made a bitchy face in front of her.

“Bakit? Boss siya ng boypren ko! Ibig sabihin mayaman siya, siguro na uubosan na kayo ng pera kaya gumaya ka sa akin.” Sigaw nito na hindi naman kinatuwa ng boyfriend nito.

“Tumigil ka Lily.” Salita ng lalake na galit na galit na tumingin sa kaniya.

“Shut up you w***e. You hooked up with a granny in their 50s and we’re not in out of money. We made more money. He’s my f*****g fiancé!” I shouted at that b***h because she’s getting in my nerves na! Ugh! Yan was shock but Eros just smiled at me. I grab my hair and did a lip bite because I’m getting angry at her.

“Talaga? Ikaw yung fiancé na sinasabi ni Sir Preciado sa board meeting namin kanina? It’s an honor Ma’am!” Yan did a shakehands with me and smile. Tumingin ako kay Eros na muhkang tinatago pa ang smile so he looked around to avoid me. So pinagyabang pala ng Eros na ito na may fiancé sya.

“Sige sir, alis na ako. Bye!” Agad na tumakbo ang lalake at iniwan ang pangit na Lily.

“Walang hiya ka talaga Huri! Kasalanan mo ito! Imbis na dito sa Pilipinas magsa-stay si Yan dahil hindi na approve yung visa ko papuntang China!” Sigaw nito at sinisisi ang kasalanan niya. Bat ako ha? It’s not even my fault. I looked at her from head to toe.

What? Nadenied ang visa niya? I laugh a bit and looked at her.

“Girl, you’re so fake that even China denied you.” I said in sarcastic voice at tumalikod ako para pumunta sa counter. Naunang umalis si Eros with the cart. Pero napatigil ako sa narinig sinabi ni Lily.

“No wonder Sean will leave you.” Sean na naman? I flip my hair before we go to the counter.

“You’re savage in there. You’re good in roasting people ha?” He said like he was proud on me. Nakapila kami dahil medyo mahaba ang pila like 3 more people in front of us.

“So you’re proud at me?” I ask him with a smile.

“Yeah.”

“Well, that’s what I’m good at.” I said and made him laugh.

“Are you proud of me?” I asked and he nod.

“Of course I am, you’re my fiancé and I never thought my fiancé will be sassy.” He said and just keeps laughing. To be honest, I never thought someone is proud of me when it comes roasting people. My mom hates it. My dad hates it. My brother lowkey hates it minsan.

I gave him a speck of kiss in his cheek while he’s laughing. Tumigil ito sa pagtatawa and looks at me so serious. I just gave him a kiss since for the he was proud of me. I never thought someone would be proud of me for being sassy He looked at me so confuse but then he smirks at me.

“That’s why I like you.” Sabi niya at ngumiti lang. Wait what? He’s too way fast.

“Alam ko, kaya nga magfiance tayo eh.” I said sarcastically and we proceed to pay the grocery. We both have both large plastic bag na bitbit at ice cream na kinakain. I start craving ng ice cream dahil kanina. Tukso talaga, layuan mo ako.

 Dati, designer brands ang nadadala ko. Ngayon, plastic bag ng mga pagkain and junk foods. My Mom will not be happy to these. She’s vegetarian kasi siya. Papalabas na kami ng supermarket but then may nahagip sa peripheral vision ko. Sean. Nakasuot ito ng black t-shirt at jeans. Nakasandal siya sa gilid ng daanan at may dalang ladies bag. Muhkang may hinihintay na babae. Ano ba ‘yan? Ang daming-dami ng supermarket sa bansa, dito pa talaga? I look at Eros na nagbumibili ulit ng ice cream. Matakaw ka ng ice cream ah. 

Kainis naman! I look at Sean then I caught his attention. Agad kong binaling ang mata ko kay Eros na kumakain ng ice cream. It’s time to shine. I smiled widely. Stand up straight, chest out and booty out.

“Love?” I said to Eros na napatigil sa pagkain ng ice cream. He looked at me so confuse.

“Alis na tayo? I’m hungry na.” He just smiles and nods. Nasa left hand ko ang plastic na may grocery at hinawakan ko ang left arm niya gamit ang right arm ko kahit may grocery din itong dala. Ang right hand naman niya ay busying kumain. Naglakad kami palabas ng supermarket pero bago kami makalabas ay nagsalita si Sean.

In some point, I don’t want to involve with Sean again. We dated for a year and half but rumors spread in the school, he’s been dating other girls while he’s with me. Ew, that was a very disgusting that ever happened to me. Pasalamat siya at sinabi ko lang kay Kuya na hindi ko na siya type, kung hindi siguro sa likod ng sports area ng university nila kuya siya makikita na bugbog sarado. As if he has well in kissing. Ew.

“May bago kana pala, ang bilis naman.” He said while smirking. Bago? Ang pagkakaalam ko may bagong jowa siya sa cheerleaders ng school. I looked at him from head to toe.

“Yeah, he’s better than you.” I said cheerfully and smiles at Eros. Eros just smile. We’ll he’s playing along.

“I bet I’m better, Huri. Sino yan? Ginamit mo naman napanakit butas sakin? Come on Huri. Kateam ng Kuya mo ‘yan?” Sean said and chuckled. I used to bring Kuya Hans’ team members para mapaselos kay Sean. Well, he thinks na Eros is one of ice hockey players ah? Damn, this hottie is hotter than you Sean! Mas bulok kapa sa second hand mong BMW galing pa sa 2004 model. I just smirked and about to answer his question but Eros speak up.

“No, I’m Himeros.” Eros offered a hand to Sean. Tinginan lang ni Sean ang kamay ni Eros then Eros just chuckled. “Don’t be rude, I’m older.” He said then nakipagshake hands na nga si Sean kay Eros.

“I’m not her brother’s teammate in ice hockey, I’m actually her fiancé.” Eros said at tumingin ako sa kaniya. Potangina? It just leaves me speechless! Ano ba naman Eros! Ex ko ‘yan eh! I notice that Eros was still holding Sean’s hand tightly and looks like he was mad to Sean. Naghiwalay sila ng kamay at nag cross arms si Sean.

“Really? Level up na ba ito Huri?” Sean just laugh pero biglang dumating si Kathleen, isa sa mga cheerdancer ng school namin.

“Babe, may ano?” Kathleen ask at tumingin sa amin ni Eros. Ngumiti si Kathleen as if she doesn’t know na mag ex kami ni Sean. Duh, we’re so popular ni Sean. Campus couple kami but he cheated with Stella. Ugly Stella na alipores ni Lily. I can’t believe na pinagpalit niya ako sa babaeng gumagamit ng Class A na fake brands. Ugh, I even accept him kami na nasa middle class lang siya.

“Hala, ikaw yung anak may-ari ng Preciado Company?” Kathleen exclaimed and Sean looks confuse.

“I am.” Matiponong sinagot ni Eros. Well, he is. He’s the youngest of the Preciado that owns the Preciado Company.

 “Kilala mo ito?” Tanong ni Sean kay Kathleen. Tumango si Kathleen while smiling. How? She’s in the middle class. Pano makikilala niya si Eros?

“Congrats sa inyo! Kailan ang kasal!?” Wait, Kathleen knows? Pareho kaming confuse ni Sean. How did she know about it? Tumingin ako kay Eros na parang may alam.

“Thank you.” Eros said.

“Pano mo nalaman?” I asked Kathleen at nilabas niya ang cellphone nito. Did something at pinakita sa amin. My eyes was just so shookt when I see the trends.

Tumingin din si Sean at lumapit sa akin pero pinigilan siya ni Eros. Kinuha ni Eros ang phone ni Kathleen at binigay kay Sean. What the heck? Bat ‘di ko alam ito? Ni-isa walang may nagsabi sa akin na trending na kami.

“Naglabas ng official statement ang kompanya niyong dalawa kanina lang. Then the whole Philippines was all about you two!” Kathleen said as if she was fangirling. Bakit walang sinabi sina Mommy sa akin na maglalabas pala sila ng statement about it?

“Mauna na kami, bye.” Malamig na paalam ni Eros sa dalawa at pumunta kami sa condo. I guess walang labasan na ito. Pagdating naming sa Summer High Tower ay mga mediang naghihintay sa labas. Hindi naman ako nagaakala na magttrend ang engagement naming. Well, everyone knows naman. My dad was ceo. My mom was a model. My brother is soon to be ceo at ice hockey player. We owned the Gav Inc. na galing pa sa great grandfather ko. Sa side naman ni Eros ay rich damn people. Lahat sila ay mga into business. They even made it into one magazine for Rich Asian Business People. Damn, that’s how rich they are.

We got in condo without troubles dahil sa mga securities na nagblock sa media. All of them are flashing cameras on us and questioning about us. Okay sana kung run away ito dahil magpopose ako ng bongga. Scandal ito eh. Damn it.

Eros starts looking while I take a bath. I put some bath bombs na tub and soaked myself. Naka bun ang buhok ko at may pink hair band din na bunny. I grab my phone and start video calling my bitches.

Her life is getting good at 22 years old. She’s always busy lalo na baka magkaroon ng problema sa kompanya niya in this near lockdown.

 We spend time talking about our boys and I told them what happened in the supermarket hanggang tinawag ako ni Eros. I end the call at lumabas sa bathroom with a bath robe. Nakaset na ang steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus. I look around kung nasaan siya.

“Dad, hindi naman kami magmamadali sa mga anak-anak na ‘yan eh. She’s minor,Dad. I could go to jail.”He said to the phone at nakatalikod ito at nakaharap sa balcony. He glared on me before he end the call.

“Get dressed so we can eat.” He sat in the sofa and did something in his phone.

Kaya dapat may mga apo na kami next year.

Dapat next year may apo na ako.

Biglang nagpop ang mga sinabi ng mga nila Dad. What if mabuntis nalang ako then sa bahay lang ako titira na? Hindi na kami pupunta sa island kung mabuntis ako sa anak ni Eros. Right? Tama ba? I just need to get preggy and stay with my family in the whole ass quarantine then get married next year with a kid. Easy!
