“Riley!” David greeted when he opened the front door. “Please, come on in.”
Riley stepped back to let Cecelia and Paige go in first. “Sorry we are late Uncle David, you know what it’s like.”
“Not a problem at all. Cecelia, it’s a pleasure to see you again, it’s been a while.” David said kissing her cheek and taking her coat.
“I saw you last week.” Cecelia said with a chuckle. “Thank you for letting Paige join us, sorry it was such short notice.”
“She is my God daughter, of course she is welcome.” David smiled.
“Uncle David!” Paige said energetically as she threw her arms around him.
“Ooof.” He muttered as she hit him full force. “It’s good to see you too young lady. Come on through to the sitting room, Colleen is just dishing up.”
