At the long ride, Devyn anchored in front of his garage entrance thereafter he took off from Velda's home. The gate automatically responded, ascending into the above surface before he drove in, positioning his spirit GT sport R motorcycle in a specified corner. Devyn lifted off his helmet, clasping it against his flank with one arm as he ran his gloved fingers through his hair locks before clambering off the bike. It was quite a specious garage with a couple of diverse car models. However, with the look of things, he indeed dotes on the colour, black, a lot. Through the link entry, he strolled into a hallway with dim light and went on to set his thumb pad on a scanner against the wall. "Hello, Devyn. Root access granted" A female's voice waffled through the speaker. Houses are known to say one or two things about their owner and that goes with Devyn. He had a contemporary style which boasts eco-friendly materials and was designed with a focus on clean lines and natural textures. The entire exterior colour palette is flooded gum grey with black entrances. And to the interior living space was associated with classic clean lines. "Adira, turn on the light" He summoned and the hallway light came in. Devyn walked through the hallway and then into the living room. "Adria, full light" The clicking sound was overheard as the lamps unhurriedly switched on until the entire light in the house was activated. Devyn extended the fridge door as he reached to grab the ice cubes. Dropped two into a rocks glass cup then grabbed a bottle of rum and spewed some drink into the glass, he shut the fridge door and commenced, earning his way up the stairs and finally into his room. He crept his hand into his pocket, plucking his phone out, he swiped across and placed it against his ear while standing by the large bedroom window. "Hey, Casey" "I have to admit. I'm the bearer of good news" She sounded. "Oh. Do tell" His lips slightly turned up and then he reached the glass against his lip. A little sip and he withdrew. "We clocked in. Commences tomorrow" "Oh, well. Nicely done" PREVIOUSLY [2002] Devyn's father posed behind the steering wheel as he piloted them both to a nice, secure locale outside town. With the car turned off, he adjusted the seat forward a bit. "Okay, son. Let's have you hop in the driver's seat" He told Devyn and clambered out of the vehicle. "You know the reason I ceased to take you to a usual parking lot?" He asked once young Devyn sat in the driver's seat. "Security reason" "Good. So we learn here. I wouldn't wish for you to be spotted, okay?" "Hm-mm" "So let's get you figure out the controls. Now, grab the wheel at 9:00 and 3:00" he instructed and the young boy obliged instantly, with a slight bend in his elbows. "Perfect. And, can you reach the pedals as well comfortably?" "Yes" "There you go. Now make sure you know where the hazards are, just in case, the horn, the turning indicators. Good. You already know which of the pedals is the clutch, the brake and the gas, so remind me, Devyn" He requested and watched him expectantly. "The one all the way to the left is the clutch, the middle pedal is the brake and the right pedal is the gas" Devyn turned and darted at his father who in return gave him a satisfying smile. "Good. Now, try to learn how far the clutch goes in and how far it comes all the way out, press it a couple of times. There you go, good boy. As you seem to know the theory part of it, let's go into the practical" he raised a brow at Devyn who smiled readily though a bit nervous. "Look at me son, look" he cupped his cheeks "What's the one thing I have taught you since you were way little? The one rule?" "Never stop fighting" Devyn mumbled. "You got to fight in you, kid. Always have. It's okay to be nervous at first, it shows you are human. Okay?" He brought his face closer to Devyn's "Remember, you got it in you" he told him in a low tone and brought their foreheads together, both eyes closed for a fleeting moment before he pried away. "You have got a whole large landscape all to yourself. Now show this car who the real master is" He announced, giving out a broad smile. CURRENT The day dawned crisp and clear. Devyn came down the stairs in his oversized grey shirt and its high-waist belted trousers. His eyes flickered to Casey "Oh, well, well. That oddly changed you into a charming therapist. Adira had announced your presence though she never mentioned how mesmerizing you looked. Blonde kind of suits you, you know" "Oh, I never knew you were one to complement" "I'm more romantic than you imagine" He uttered nobly and walked past her. "Ah" she slowly nodded repeatedly as if trying to access the words he had just uttered. "Most interesting bachelor indeed" she began to walk behind him as he headed to the pantry door. "Suddenly, a name for me. I've made a breakthrough" he looked back at her in a proud way then unlocked the door and both went in. "Congratulations" "Devyn, 5.12. Open" Devyn spoke out once they conveyed to the end of the pantry, a black wall before them. There was a beep before the wall moved inward, creating access to the hidden staircase which went downwards. "Milo left to do a little shopping for a few decent articles of clothing you would be needing" Devyn informed her as they continued on their way down the stairs. Devyn and his team had kept an eye on Mr Everdeen, a sixty-two years man and the owner of a well-known industry. It's been quite some years now. Everdeen was a friend of Devyn's father. Conceivably, no one apprehended the meaning of their friendship. Sometimes friends cease to be friends, probably how the world takes off. A nursemaid was required for Mr Everdeen's father who was newly brought back to their mansion after his last severe stroke. To Devyn, some rich folks don't just die. The old man had practically died, yet somehow refused to leave the earth. Except now he had unknowingly granted Devyn access to the mansion. Casey had done the whole logistics and landed herself the job, which was indeed proceeding according to their strategy. Disguised, she now goes by the name, Katniss Bodd. "You know he's debased at women's clothing, right?" Though she seemed oddly relaxed on her own declaration. "Yet, he had before shopped multiple times for you" Devyn muttered still walking down the stairs. "Yeah, and how did they go?" "I supposed fair" "That's the problem. Fair" "Oh, so dramatic. Adira, turn on full lights" It was an ample surveillance room. Casey strode past him to the situated large screen and set herself before a computer. "Everdeen's house is readied with insane security that will detect any slight electromagnetic radiation. Well, not enough to stop me from here. The plan stands. It will proceed on the low, no comm, zero" "Well, you got the skill to match" Devyn uttered, unbothered "Just a couple of days in the lion's den, not a bad idea. Would be fun. Where could the target be currently?" Promptly she starts to type on the keyboard "I ran the CCTV and security cam in his industry and he was detected seven minutes ago entering his car" She announced still on track "Said to be meeting with a Chinese master craftsman, no other information on the conference" She stopped, resting her palm by the flank of the keyboard. The front door camera displayed Milo stepping towards it with baggage. He initiated some pins before he alternated the door alias. "Door access granted to Milo" Adira announced. "You might want to go through what he purchased," Devyn signified with a quiet nudge of his head in the direction of the stairs. Virtually half past four when they made their way back to the oversight room. Casey was now dressed and her hair styled and melded perfectly. Milo walked to the left intersection of the room and positioned his palm on a specific area against the plain wall. There was the sound of whirring and beeps then locks clicked and the wall propelled inward. They walked into a section with two cars and one van. All black. "Hey" Devyn muttered "He is an abomination. So, be careful, okay?" Devyn advised her from his spot. This wasn't Casey's first covered-up operation, though, in order not to jeopardize their goal, she was entrusted to get on without any equipment, she only have her skill to retain her off any threat. "Remember, go according to the plan. I need you out of that manse before any other thing, okay?" Devyn reminded. "You don't need to worry, I know the rules" She turned to him on the last syllables. "Don't kill the old man" Milo chirped and slumped onto the driver's seat. "Only if he ceases not to anger me" She answered back coolly. Then returned to Devyn "Make sure to get the Detective before-" "Oh, not again" Devyn shorten her off. Onto the car seat, she ascended and Devyn shifted backwards before the car gradually came to be lifted upward. The roof of the room stretched out revealing the garage roof, and the car was unhurriedly raised aloft through the opening above it. Finally, the 2009 Bentley Arnage stood onto the garage and shortly the garage gate opened. Milo inverted out of the garage and onto the front yard of Devyn's apartment. "Have this" He said handing a phone to Casey. Casey was eventually escorted into the mansion where Mr Everdeen in flesh was seated on a fancy leather armchair. "You are Katniss Bodd, you look quite youthful than I had deemed. Are you certain you are competent?" Everdeen questioned, oddly calm. "I am rather much capable of offering my job to my best capability" Casey replied with a gentle look, standing. "Oh, my bad. I failed to offer you a seat" He acted remorseful "Please, seat" he motioned. "Thank you, Mr Everdeen" Casey spoke and gently posed in a proficient manner. "I'm yet to believe you do be able to take care or manage my father's current condition" Everdeen denounced, though his voice was a bit reluctant. "I understand that my look may vary from your expectations, but then, managing your father, however, requires a delicate touch, patient, one which I provide" "Good. Good, because delicate and patient... are things the person before you doesn't have"
