Ballarson was a man-made planetoid, named after the company that built it. It was a hollow sphere, with an agricultural outer core and an industrial inner core. Cities populated both the outer crust and interior, with transit tubes linking both.
The Dedication Palace was inside the planet. Star stared at the tall, imposing building, with its florescent columns jutting nearly to the roof of the inner chamber. Glancing over at her husband, she could see he was equally impressed. She started to question him about it, when she realized he’d never been here before, either. A grin of happy revelation came over her, along with the warmth of knowing.
