Vivienne's POV As I walked around the room, part of me was feeling like I crossed the boundary with Alexander's mom by leaving the dining table. Yet, another part of me was proud of standing up for myself. “She was implying I married her son for his money and what he could offer. What does she think of me?” I scoffed. Thinking about that began to make me emotional, reminded of how things were easy before my mom died, leaving her investments to our not so nice aunty who never cared for us. I could feel tears welling up in my eyes, I couldn't control it from streaming down my cheeks any longer.
