Michelle's POV
“Harry?” I mumbled as I picked the call.
“Hello” I said, waiting for him to talk from the other end because I wasn't expecting any calls from him, and I was disappointed because it wasn't Lucian.
“Good evening ma'am” he greeted from the other end.
“Evening” I responded with a questioning tone. “Mr Houston told me to give you a message” he said with a reluctant voice.
My heart pounded not knowing what that could be. “What is it?”
“He won't be coming home tonight, and for some days as well” Harry reported politely.
My heart tightened as I swallowed my saliva because of my parched throat. I couldn't take in the message well, but I couldn't get angry at him. He was just following orders.
