Chapter Thirty-Three
Chairman Robert sat straight backed, his weathered hands framed around the gold tip of his walking stick, as Paul manuvered the Hummer limousine, through the traffic on the busy streets of Emerald City.
Behind them three SUVs filled with suited bodyguards, stayed a respectful distance, as Paul had ordered them to do.
The chairman was returning to the company today, and Paul had picked him directly from the VIP floor in the hospital.
From the rearview mirror, he could see the chairman looking out of the window, his eyes hidden by the dark sunglasses which he wore.
His expression was grim, but his color was good. He had made excellent progress in his health in just a few days, and Paul was thankful for that.
