"Fine, I'll go myself. Get the reports ready." Zaire said grimly as he focused on his work once more, dismissing Liam.
Liam nodded and walked out, closing the door to the office quietly behind him.
Zaire tried to work but he kept getting distracted with thoughts of the heiress of Whitmore and their arranged marriage.
He wondered what she looked like and how her personality was. He silently swore that he would have nothing to do with her if she was a spoilt brat like Vanessa had been.
At the thought of Vanessa, he grimaced and sighed wearily. He had been such a fool for love back then.
He wondered if Vanessa ever even loved him or was just looking for a person she can bend to her whim.
But he was no longer that fool for love. He would not be used to anyone's whim,
