Zaire stood frozen in shock, as he stared at Paul, who was walking towards them, calmly, his strides purposeful.
"It's the Chairman's assistant! That intern is really done for."
"Serves him right! He should have just apologized when they told him to!."
"Now that the Chairman's assistant is here, the managing director won't let him go so easily!"
Zaire could hear the murmurs of the employees as they all bowed again, this time to Paul.
