Chapter Seventy "Ava!" Zaire called as he ran down the hall after her. Damn, she was fast but not fast enough. He soon caught up with her, his long strides covering the distance rapidly. Grabbing her by the arm, he turned her towards him so he could stare at her. "Hey, what's going on? Talk to me!" He said, his chest heaving with the way he was breathing hard. "Let go of me!" Ava said tightly, keeping her gaze away from him. She struggled in his grasp but he was too strong and he held on to her. "Let go! You're hurting me!" She cried out again, wincing in pain in his tight grip. He immediately let go of her at those words, and bit his lips in regret at the expression of pain on her face. "I'm sorry, I did not mean to do that." he uttered and she rolled her eyes, still looking away
