Chapter Forty-One "When my parents died, was it really from a mere accident?." The question hung in the air and produced effects from everyone in the room that Zaire never expected. The chairman jerked in his seat, and suddenly started trembling, his spoon dropping from his hands. Martha gasped at the question, and her hands flew to her chest, as though to keep her heart from flying out. Paul was calmer though, although his eyes had widened a bit at the question, and he stared intently at Zaire. The chairman eventually stopped trembling, although it was hard. Anytime he was reminded of his son's death, he always felt like dying. He could not believe that Zaire was actually thinking of his parents. He was so young when they died, and he had to live the hard life which he suffered.
