Chapter 8

As I’m making my way through the pack house more and more people start to appear. Noise starting to fill up the silent pack house as the warrior make their way to the training grounds and some omegas to the kitchen to start on breakfast. I make a mental note to make sure Sand add a bonus for today for the four omegas she has helping her. I push the Elevator button as the doors open I slam into my head warrior. “Sorry Alpha but I was told

to come fine you about something going on. Gamma Sand gave me a few things but said you would probably have more precise things you want done.” Asher finally breathes out I guess he must have been running down here to find me. Sand probably has him running all of training today since I have her preoccupied. She would rather do anything other than what I would have a Luna do but she’s all we got right now. She’s the only ranked female in our pack the only reason I think she isn’t fighting me is cause Ed is like family to her too. “Asher I need you to add extra warrior to each shift if you have to make shift time shorter. My cousin and the other surfing rank members as well as your beta and a few warrior will be here this afternoon. The pack was wiped out and we need to be prepared for anything. We are also going to have a welcome dinner and pack induction of the three so get some people posted at about 6 as well.” After finish I step in the elevator and push the buttons as the doors close I hear him tell me he will get it done immediately and ran off.

The doors finally open as I step out it’s chaos up here. Sand comes up to me after a few minutes just watching the masses wondering if I should just go back down and make sure I’m out of the way. “ B we just got all the bathrooms stocked I have the two rooms on the right of the hall one set up for Ed and the other for Meagan. The door to the left side I set up for Rae so she can lookout to the lake and trees. Use to always find her on the balcony as a kid. We have bedding be brought up and getting everything on the floor stocked.” I head to the office as I tell her it’s perfect before I can make it there my mind drifted to what she said about Raelynn. “Hey for Raelynn get the bedding in stuff in an emerald green or close to it send someone out if we don’t have it. She always liked that color.” I give a slight smirk as I say it and go to shut to shut the door. “ Wait make Ed’s blue or black and find out Meg’s favorite to wanna make sure they all fell welcome” I quickly get out I don’t want Sand getting thoughts in her head and start teasing me about Raelynn. She’s the only one who ever knew that I liked Rae back then. As the door closes I hear sand chuckle to her self. “Yeah okay I see someone still has a soft spot of for a certain someone.” Sh** I think to myself to late should have thought before I opened my d**n mouth.

As I sit down I start to hear Back in Black by AC/DC start lightly playing. Immediately I start looking for my cell to answer my dad’s call. “Hey son we land in an hour send a car to the private airport so we can get there asap. Your mom wants to make sure everything is done. I called your uncle he’s on the way as well. He will be staying with us for a few weeks. It was your mom’s idea so that I had someone to talk to. I got to go he’s calling me now.” The line ends before I can say a word and I mind link sand to get an omega to set up my uncles room on the floor below us. My uncle is a therapist in the Galveston area I can see why mom wanted him home.Steve is my dads younger brother he’s still part of our pack but has a practice working with the A&M kids there. This is staring to become a family reunion and not for good reasons. I love when Steve comes home but he will be in Dr mode the whole time but it’s needed.

“Alpha we got everything set up I sent Lacey to go get stuff for Rae’s room and sent my sister with her to get clothes and stuff for all of them as well. An omega she be about done with Steve’s room shortly.” I hear Sand voice ring in my head. “Sounds good Sand I was thinking about placing an order at the Czech Stop and having Dylan pick stuff up.”

“ Make sure you get an extra box of the strawberry cream cheese for me!!!!!!!!”

I laugh to my self at her excitement and stTt calling to place an order there. I ordered 10 boxes of the Strawberry Cream Cheese, 5 Blueberry Cream cheese, 3 Apricot Cream Cheese, 4 Cream

Cheese, and 5 Cherry Cream Cheese kolaches for the pack tonight. I already sent a link to our kitchen staff and some other omegas about the dinner tonight so it can start getting prepared. I decided to call Dylan and see a voice mail left by him.

“ Hey B we just topped of and are headed that way. I’ll wait for your call or try again at the next stop we make.”

I was about to press call when Dylan’s picture pops up and I click the pick up button.

D: hey man we just got to the first stop so far everything has been smooth how’s it going over there?

B: Perfect so how far out are y’all? And everything’s getting done I have car that should be at the airport to get my parents. Uncle Steve is on the way as well and almost all the rooms are ready. We are getting a dinner ready to welcome and induct them into the pack as well. Oh also I need you to stop at the Czech stop to pick up a large or I placed for dessert let them know to call and add anything they want on top of it.

D: Alright man sounds good I’ll let them know. I’ll send the warrior a head to the pack while we stop. We should be there in about 3 more hours.

B: Alright man yall be on alert and safe I’ll meet yall out front of the pack house.

With that I hung up just hitting me that it was already noon. It feels like I got Ed’s call like two hours ago not last night.
