Chapter 18

*** Raelynns POV***

Now that we are all sat Wes dials is old friend who is an elder. After a good minutes the phone finally picks up and Brayden puts it on speaker.

EA: Elder Arron here what can I do to assist Black Moon Pack Alpha Brayden.

W: Hey Arron it’s Wes I’m here with my son, wife ranked members, and the three sole survivors of the Lake Moon m******e.

EA: Wes good to hear from you. I’m sorry to hear about Lake Moon I’m one of the main elders on the case. Do you think I can talk to Raelynn, Eduardo, and Meagan about what they saw?

R: Elder Arron we would be more than willing to talk or help in anyway we can I just ask we get kept in the loop and I get to kill the person responsible with my own claws.

EA: I’m sure we can arrange that and I’m so sorry for y’all’s losses. I have a feeling this isn’t about Lake Moon though so what can I do for you.

B: Arron if you wouldn’t mind coming here to see us I don’t want to discuss to much over the phone. After being inducted to the back Raelynn and Meagan had their first shift. After seeing Ed shift as well I believe we have 3 blessed wolves that have bestowed. In addition all three have been given mates as ranked members in my pack. Raelynn is the Luna, Meagan our Female Beta, and Ed as out Gamma Male. Would you be able to come with someone you trust to help give us information if any and to talk with us. You know about my wolf Gentrey. And we sent and omega to Elder Deans to get him here as well but dad says you know more about blessed wolves than most on the council.

EA: Oh well that’s… that’s a lot to take in. don’t say anymore I’m going to contact Elder Spencer and we shall be headed your way in the morning it’ll take us about 5 hours if we take the jet. I’ll text your dad with more details. Make sure no one talks outside your pack about their wolves. However unfortunate it may seem please wait to mark y’all’s mates till we get a better idea of what we are dealing with. I’ll see you all tomorrow night. Be safe.

Before any of us could say anything the line ended.

E: Well I’m screwed Sand and I have already marked eachother.

He said with a shrug of his shoulders while the rest of us just glare at him. Looks like we may sleep in different rooms after all just to be safe. As soon as the thought comes to my mind Brayden is already looking at me like not gunna happen.

B: Alright everyone is tired it has been a long few days. Everyone go ahead and call it a night and you heard Elder Arron no marking tonight behave please. If I cant mark our Luna you can mark eachother. Got it? Good! I’m going to wait here for Dean to show up and talk to him. I’ll see y’all in the morning.

Everyone starts to leave the office slowly trickling out and the door finally closes. I just lean my head on Brayden’s shoulder and take in a deep breath. How is so much going on can I get a chance to breathe. Like give me a bit of break Moon Goddess. I’m pulled out of my thoughts by Brayden dangerously smooth voice.

B: Raelynn why don’t you go to my room go ahead and shower and get ready for bed and I’ll be in there later. I can talk to Elder Dean and tell him everything. You need to take a moment and relax get whatever else you need from your room and bring it into mine as well. If you need something to sleep in grab something out of my drawers in the closet.

R: Okay B thank you. I’m going to go down to the kitchen and get us something to drink and eat. Well for me at the least shifting made me very hungry.

B: Sounds good if you open the fridge on the far left there may be some wine for you while you take a bath.

My eyes widen in excitement I slowly pull his face to mine and kiss him deeply. As the kiss gets more and more frantic my body turns and straddles him in the seat. I give a bite to his lip and he lets out a soft growl lifting me up and on to the desk. His hands start exploring from my thighs, up to my hips gripping them firmly. As his hands start to make their way up my shirt a knock comes haunting us in our place. I let out a frustrated grunt and he give me one last kiss. Straightening ourselves out I give him a wink and head to the door. I open it letting in who I assume is Elder Dean and shut the door behind me. I’m practically skipping to the kitchen excited for a glass or two of wine while I submerge my self in a bubble bath. After getting to the kitchen I sss they have my favorite Pino Grigio I grab the bottle and start looking for the glasses. After open what seemed like 15 cabinets I finally find them and grab to just in case. I make my way to a fridge labeled snacks and open it. Grinning I find what I like to call a big kid lunchable I snatch it out of the fridge grab the wine and the glasses and make my way up to our room. I set everything down in Brayden’s room and head to my old one to get what I’ll need. I practically grab the whole bathroom and bring it back with me. As I struggle to open the bathroom doors I finally step in and it’s like a dream.
