Joining Black Moon

Chapter 6

We all pile into the elevator to head down to breakfast. Just as the elevator slows Meagan and I’s stomachs let out the loudest prolonged growls you have ever heard in your life. We slow turn to each other wide eyed and looking each other straight in the eyes as awkwardly as we could make it. The guys just staring at us completely confused and kinda worried as to what just happened and if either of us ate last night. Before they can say a word to us the doors open and we sprint out of sight towards the breakfast area. It became a race between me and Meagan to see who could get there first. We both turn our head to look behind as we hear big footsteps behind us to see Ed in a full out sprint trying to see if he can beat us. We fly around the corner not paying attention to anyone around us dodging everyone trying to make it. I slam my hand down first followed by Ed then Meagan out of breath and full of victory. I break out in a little dance and bragging about winning. Laughed breaks out around us as we realize how childish we seem but don’t care we deserve a little fun. Dylan finally makes it to us calls so nut jobs and walks away with his plat. I just stuck my toy he out at him and went to make my plate. Excited to see I can have a Texas shaped waffle. I made two loaded with butter and syrup and load up another plate with bacon and breakfast taters. I sit next to Dylan and dig in waiting for Ed and Meagan to sit before we start talking about the trip ahead. After they finally sat down and we some of our breakfast it was time to get down to business. Before I could open my mouth Ed decides to run his mouth. “You see the little dance Raelynn is doing the the demons you saw this morning leaving her body.” I flip off and everyone else is just laughing like it’s the funniest thing ever as I smirk and roll my eyes.

We decided to keep how we had the order of the cads we had already talked about. Only we added one of his warriors to my truck since Ed only just got his wolf and us girls have a week before we get ours. Just to be on the safe side. It’s 9:45 so I stuff the last bit of my food and chug my coffee down so we can get going. As I walk out of the breakfast area I see that Dylan is gathering everyone out front. One we make sure everyone has everything and that they know we are stopping at the Buccee’s just a few miles from us and then we will get in the road. I throw my bags is the bed of the truck and hop in the drive seat. I buckle up, turn it on and check that everyone is ready. I pull out behind Dylan and we left the hotel. I get to the pump and hop out of my truck to head inside. Ed bring the cooler to the ice machine to put two bags in it. I grab us 4 giant NOS, Monsters, RedBulls, Dr Peppers, and some waters. While Meagan grabbed some snacks. Meagan comes over to me with a cart and I start putting the drinks in it. She already asked all of our favorites and asked the warrior about his. I feel bad I don’t his name yet like he’s fixing to be in the car with us for hours I should know it. We make it to the counter get $100 on the pump and paid for everything. I stopped and decided to get us three a few vapes. We don’t usually smoke but we are all so stressed right now I think we could all use it. After getting the truck filled, the 5 gal gas tank is the bed, and getting all the drinks snacks arranged we finally all headed out. I rolled down the windows and the sun roof and slowly turned up the radio.It was a surprisingly cool morning and it felt great and was so pretty. Once we hit the highway I finally decided to decided what we were gunna start listening to I pushed play and turn the radio quite a bit more then before. Mathew the warrior in the back had almost fell asleep when he jerked awake to Eminem’s Curtain album. I giggle to my self as I put my sunglasses on and focus on the road. Luckily so far traffic was basically non existent after we got out of DFW which is rare. It’s been about two hours and we finally pull over for a potty break. I had already had a Dr Pepper and a giant NOS and flew in the door of the gas station. Dylan tells us that once we get to West that the warriors are gunna head to the pack and our two cars are gunna stop at the Czech Stop. I’m so excited the have the best kolaches on planet earth. Dylan tells me to call and add on stuff for us three to the order that was placed earlier. Before he could even finished I already was hearing the phone ringing. They pick up and I add 2 Dozen of Strawberry Cream cheese, Blueberry Cream Cheese, and Apricot Cream Cheese kolaches to the order. Luckily we called in enough time to be able to get that much it’s is always super busy every time I’ve been the lines been out the door. I hop back in my truck and we all head out for the final stretch to Black Moon. I’m ready to get there already and get settled in and have some time to my self. As we start to notice everyone falling asleep so I changed up the music to a country playlist so the bass in my truck is super loud while they sleep. I settle in the my seat set the cruise control and followed Dylan to our new home.
