Chapter 28The Seven Seas
“Everyone ready?” Ross spoke in a quiet, determined voice as he, Izzie Drake, Sergeant Sofie Meyer, together with Detective Constables Derek McLennan, Tony Curtis and Sam Gable, exited the two unmarked police cars about a hundred yards distance from The Seven Seas, public house. It wouldn't help their cause to be seen pulling up right outside the notorious drinking den. Nothing would be guaranteed to empty the place in a hurry than the arrival of two car loads of police officers, and Ross had no doubt that unmarked cars and plain clothes would in no way prevent the denizens of such an establishment from instantly 'making' Ross and his people as police officers.
