Chapter Eight - Xu BoThe heat in the room was stifling and at least three of the young people sitting there had nodded off during the talk, Xu Bo was no exception but he was the only one that got caught.
“Young man,” the teacher scolded, throwing a pen and hitting Xu Bo on the head, “Perhaps you would care to come to the front and recite what's on the board, that's if you can stay awake long enough.”
Several of the group sniggered and many turned around to look at the red- faced student.
“I'm so sorry Mr. Green,” Xu Bo stammered, ”It's just so hot in here.”
