YAWNING quietly, Irene couldn't focus listening to their current lecture. She couldn't sleep last night. Her seatmate; Min Yoongi nudged her lightly.
"If you keep on yawning like that, Miss Choi would definitely scold you." Slamming her head lightly on the table with a slight grunt, she tried to keep her eyes open. Irene couldn't sleep well last night, there is something about her brother's story that is bothering her.
"Say Yoongi," Irene trailed off making Yoongi pay attention to her. ", do you know anyone who knows ballet?" Irene asked, hoping that Yoongi would atleast know a person.
Tapping his pen on the book, Yoongi pretended to think and chuckled afterwards. He flicked Irene's forehead making the girl pout, "Silly, i'm a transferee! Do you think i know anyone from this school besides you and a few classmates?" Yoongi says, making Irene groan at her own stupidity.
"I really want to dance, Yoongi. I really hope someone can teach me to do even better." Irene whined, you can say that Irene is stubborn, but she's certain about pursuing the dream she really wants. Everytime she hears the word ballet her heart gets fluttery.
"Same goes for me, but aren't we lucky to have supportive parents?" Yoongi mocked making Irene laugh, oh how lucky they are.
Yoongi wants to pursue his music career, he writes great songs and already know how to create beautiful beats and melodies. But how fortunate they are, his parents want him to pursue engineering.
"Are you two laughing? At my time of class, really?" Irene and Yoongi were busy talking, not noticing that their prof has been glaring at them for a long time.
Irene pursed her lips and muttered an apology, but Yoongi just shrugged not even bothering to say sorry. Miss Choi's lips formed a thin line before looking away at her naughty students.
Irene and Yoongi glanced at each other, before giggling silently. "Bad Influence" Yoongi mouthed at Irene making the girl huff.
Ugh, when will the class end?

"THERE you are."
Irene flinched at the voice, she rolled her eyes and glared at the man when she realized it was just Yoongi. After every subject, they hang out together every breaktime.
"I swear, you'll be the death of me." Irene clutched her chest dramatically, as Yoongi just smiled smugly at her.
"Where's your brother?" Yoongi asked, the both of them walking throughout the corridors filled with students hanging out with their own group of friends.
Irene pursed her lips and sighed heavily, her brother Namjoon, a special kind of case. "He injured himself with the door again, i swear he'll break our whole house down one day." Yoongi couldn't help but chuckle at the distress Irene is experiencing.
Reaching the fields where sporty students hang out, but there's a spot the three of them always hang out. Irene's school couldn't afford having rooms for ballet so they practice in the fields. Irene tried copying some of their steps making Yoongi laugh,
"Practice more, you're getting better." Yoongi says making Irene shake her head in disapproval.
"I really need someone who knows ballet to teach me. I tried asking one of them, though..." Irene trailed off looking at group of girls dancing ballet sadly, before continuing her speech."...They mocked me, saying there's no such spot for a weakling like me."
Irene couldn't help but to laugh bitterly, she knew for herself that if her mother would only let her join the ballet club, she would be the best! Yoongi gave her a pat on the shoulder,
"Don't believe such things, i want this to be a surprise but i'm trying to find someone who could teach you." Yoongi says, making Irene gasp. She threw her arms around Yoongi and squealed excitedly.
"Oh my god, really?!" Irene pulled away from the hug, a really big smile on her face.
When Yoongi met Irene this school year, he knew they'd get along. Yoongi is not really a social butterfly, but Irene is the polar opposite. When they spilled out their problems, Yoongi felt relieved that he is not alone after all. Yoongi treats Irene as his sister, and would do anything to make her happy.
After all, Irene inspired him to pursue his own dreams despite his parents totally disagreeing. "Yeah, but one thing though," A smile tugged on Yoongi's lips before pulling out a worn out orange note.
"You wrote a new song again?" Irene asked, immediately taking the notebook from the pale boy's hands.
Yoongi shyly nodded, he saw how Irene smiled while reading the lyrics he wrote from his heart. All it takes is one person to know and appreciate his artwork to keep him going. And he's doing the same for her.
"This is touching, once people get to see your work, they'll look up to you." Irene praised Yoongi, returning his orange worn out note back to his grasp.
Yoongi chuckled and ruffled Irene's hair, "You really believe in me that much?" Yoongi asked making Irene nod enthusiastically.
"Well, mister, if you let other people besides me see your work, they'll be amazed too!" Irene answered, as Yoongi just huffed, well he doesn't really trust anybody to see his personal creation, even Namjoon.
"Hey..." a girl approached the both of them with a smile, she is wearing one of those tutu.
"What do you need?" Yoongi bluntly asked the girl, they're not used in having other company when hanging out.
She glanced at Irene with a playful smile tugging at her face, "You wanna join the ballet club right?" The girl asked. Whatever she is planning, Irene doesn't feel good with it.
Irene hesitantly nodded, "Well then, we might consider your pleading if you buy us lunch." The girl says, placing a card inside the palm of Irene's hand.
"What are you-" Yoongi was nudged hardly by Irene making him stop talking.
"Will you really do that?" Irene asked, she's willing to do anything just to enter the club. The girl couldn't help but smirk at the sight of hope glistening inside Irene's eyes.
"Ofcourse dear, i never break my words." And with that, Irene sprinted towards the canteen making the girl laugh.
Yoongi glared at the girl hardly, "You're lying, aren't you?" Yoongi said with gritted teeth, oh how he hates people like her.
"You're really smart, loner boy." The girl says before walking back to her group of friends, probably mocking Irene's stupidity.
Yoongi sprinted towards the canteen, he saw how Irene seemed troubled. "Your card is empty, pay it or i'll make you clean those dishes for a week." The vendor says, annoyed at the girl who's keeping the line up.
Yoongi shook his head and took out a couple of cash from his wallet, "Here, i'm sorry for the inconvenience, i gave her the wrong card." Yoongi says before pulling her away along with the tray of food.
"Are you nuts Irene?!" Yoongi exclaimed angrily, he hates how Irene can be stupid sometimes.
"I-I thought-" She was cut off when Yoongi hissed, he only does that when he's really pissed.
"Give me the card." Yoongi ordered sternly, with shaking hands Irene placed the card carefully on Yoongi's hand. Yoongi stormed off, leaving Irene worried about the girl.
Yoongi may be quiet but once he gets pissed, he can make you embarrassed in many ways. Yoongi came back with a grin plastered on his face.
"Taught her a lesson, let's eat the food shall we?"
