I hadn’t planned to stay long.
Just a quick check-in with the Eclipse Moon site. A routine walk-through to make sure the plans we’d put in motion were still on track. But the moment I stepped onto the grounds, I felt the tension. The air practically vibrated with it.

“What the hell is wrong with you?” he snapped at one of the younger builders, a boy who looked barely twenty. “Do I have to do everything myself?”
The boy flinched, stammering something about misunderstanding the layout.
