Taryn I didn’t even tell Heidi I was leaving. I just grabbed my bag and walked out of the library, my heart still hammering from Caz’s kiss. My lips still tingled. My skin still burned. And I hated it. He wasn’t supposed to be real. Just a dream. A fever vision. A mistake. But his mouth on mine had felt like truth.
