"Mom, what's wrong?" Criselda suddenly noticed the gloom from her mother's face. She can see that her mother seemed to think of something important and that she need to find out.
"N-Nothing, my dear. Thank you for the water. You may sleep now. I'm sorry I made you worry so much."
"No, mom. You're the only family that I have. Who can we depend on but ourselves, right?"
"Thank you, dear. I love you." She caressed Criselda's cheek as she looked into her eyes.
"Always remember that I love you very much, no matter what happens." She said to her as she becomes teary-eyed.
"Mom, you're acting weird." Criselda chuckled a bit to at least make her mom smile and she finally able to do it.
"Don't mind me. Maybe I am always thinking about the time that one day, you might be gone from me."
