“Okay, one more time, just so I can wrap my head around this. What exactly did Jaxy say when you got Leto’s letter?”
I sighed and turned to look at the Gamma stretched out languidly across my bed. “He told me that he doesn’t like Leto or trust her and that he doesn’t want me talking to her alone. That he trusts you to handle her.”
“Yeah… yeah okay, I got that much. What I’m still not hearing is the part where he told you it was okay to meet with her. Because I’ve got to be straight and tell you that really doesn’t sound like the Alpha I know. He’d want you ten feet away from that b***h at all times.”
