JAXOM’S POV I held Trinity’s silky black hair away from her face, rubbing her back and shoulders while she coughed and vomited up what was left of her lunch. My goddess, I’ve killed her, I thought frantically, her delicate bones as fragile as glass beneath my heavy palms. She was a strong woman, but still a human one, and frail in comparison to the she-wolves of my pack. I should never have let my temper get away from me, not when I was so close to a shift.
