JAXOM’S POV
It was the third day of Trinity’s heat cycle, and though her symptoms were starting to subside, her resolve remained steadfast. The same couldn’t be said for mine, which was hanging on by a single fraying thread. I may have been a king, but it was my mate who ruled me, a power she was more than willing to wield to her own advantage.
Every time she rode me, every time I watched her fall apart in my arms, Trinity claimed me- body and soul. There was a challenge in her dark eyes, a silent demand with each thrust of her hips, and for once, my wolf was eager to submit.
