The Meet and Greet

I wake up and sigh stretching getting up to go for a run. I head out of the dorm and someone jumps out at me “ What are you doing!”
I screech hitting him “ Kyan that isn’t funny!”
He chuckles grabbing my waist “ Awe gorgeous I’m sorry I didn’t mean to scare you”
I roll my eyes kissing him “ Come on I want to go for a run”
He kisses my head “ Let’s go then”
He takes off running and I catch up we run side by side through the entire campus ending back at my dorm he sits on the grass grabbing my hand pulling me down and I giggle falling into his arms.
He links our fingers together as I lean against his chest “ You ready for your meet and greet today?”
I nod “ You?”
“ mhm been looking forward to it”
I sigh leaning farther into his chest “ What’s wrong?”
“ I just feel like I screwed up your whole college experience”
He chuckles kissing my head softly” Don’t even go there gorgeous… Because i still plan on making this one hell of an experience” he grab my waist leaning to my ear “ For you and I both my future Luna”
I turn looking at him giggling “ Holy sh.it that just clicked”
He chuckles kissing me leaning his head to mine “ breakfast in 30?”
I nod kissing him again “ yeah meet you there I need a shower”
he gets up pulling me up and kissing me “ You know one day I will join you in that shower”
I smile at him “ Yeah but not today” he chuckles and smacks my butt as I walk away.
I go shower and head back to my room “Morning girl”
“ Morning how was the party?”
She shrugs “ We dipped right after you guys did having a party of our own”
I huff laughing a little moving to get ready “ I am about to meet Ky for breakfast you guys coming?”
She nods “ Yeah we were about to head that way… So I have a question?”
“ What’s up?”
She sighs sitting down “ Exactly how will you know what you’re looking for? I mean the info about your parents”
“ Honestly I am not even sure”
She laughs “ Well guess we better figure that out.”
I turn flipping my hair back over “ Yeah I know but hopefully being in the same sorority will give me a clue”
“ Hey baby you ready?”
she turns to Bo “ Yeah we are going to meet your brother at the hall”
“ I know he said to hurry you girls up he’s hungry”
I roll my eyes “ he’s so impatient perfection takes time”
Sienna laughs and I slip my shoes on so we can head out.
After breakfast I get ready for my meet and greet lunch. I head to the Luna Pi house there are a ton of girls here. I really hope this works
“ Hi name?”
“ Alexandra Moor”
She looks at me “ Moor as in Helen?”
“ Yeah?”
She huffs “ Yeah right you know I know I can ask her right?”
I roll my eyes “ Go for it”
“ Go for what? Alexandra is there a problem?”
“ Apparently I can’t have your last name?”
She looks at the girl “ You have a problem with my God daughter?” The girl looks between us “ She is a legacy Stacy the only legacy this year so far meaning she is an automatic in correct?”
She nods “ Yes ma’am”
“ Well she isn’t the only Legacy”
I turn seeing Sienna “ What are you doing?”
“ Rushing of course”
Helen laughs “ Ladies grab your tags and come with me sweet legacies”
She introduces us to the president and all of the other girls “ So Helen are you here for a while?”
“ No Sienna I am just here for rush week make sure my baby girl here gets in” She side hugs me making me giggle “ okay girls now go have fun”
We walk off hanging out talking to the other girls I sit down next to a fountain in the garden and Sienna joins me “ Hey girl”
I smile “ Hey so what are you really doing here?”
She giggles “ Ali we have three years to find out everything we need to Bo and I talked and figured the more ears to the ground the better”
“ The more? Did he rush two?”
“ Yes… helping our future sister in law matters”
I giggle side hugging her “ Thank you”
“ Hey ladies so we are winding down the last thing is figuring out tomorrow’s seating arrangements”
I look at her “ Sorry Lily seating arrangements?”
“ yeah for the mixer dinner you two are legacies so you will join us without having to do the hard stuff” … “ Anyways we look at the pictures of the new Rushes at Alpha see who we want to persue”
I laugh a little “ And if they have mates?”
“ Oh off limits for sure… wait sorry I didn’t ask you two before I sent them your pictures are you guys mated?”
“ Yes” we answer in unison
“ Oh let me fix that really quick… anyways into the den ladies”
We get up heading to the den I grab one of the newspapers and sit down doing the crossword.
They start going through the guys name and I do my crossword uninterested “ So you paying attention?”
“ Yeah Helen of course”
“Mhm”
“ Okay next up is the oldest twin Kyan Pierce”
I raise my hand “ Okay that’s three girls wanting to sit next to him including your’s truly”
I look up seeing the other girl Mona I roll my eyes “ um yeah no I am sitting next to him”
“ No offense Legacy but that isn’t how this works Ro sham Bo it to…”
Lily steps up interrupting “ Sorry Ladies but I did just get a text” She sighs “ Alexandra will be taking an end with Kyan next to her, Sienna on the other side and Bo next to her you know the rules girls those two are off limits”
Mona huffs “ Says who? Look Ky is my man I’m not going to have some outcast flouncy little b…”
Helen clears her throat “ Choose your next words wisely prospect because you keep talking about my baby girl I will bounce you from this house personally”
I smile at her triumphantly and go back to my crossword as they move on. My phone buzzes
“ You want to explain why you were on the grab girl list”
I sigh texting him back “ Sienna was too it was just a mistake it’s fixed”
“ Yeah after I nearly got in a fight over it Alex”
“ You I was about to fight your ex yet again don’t start with me right now Kyan”
“ Grand hall after?”
“ Depend you still going to have a stick up your butt?”
“ haha so funny beautiful seriously though I need my arms around that beautiful body of yours”
“ Awe missed you today too handsome”

“ So grand hall?”
“ Yes but after dinner I am going to the store and getting some snacks “
“ Alright beautiful we are almost done see you in a bit”
“ Alright ladies that is all of the Alpha Pi guys we will see all you rushes tomorrow morning Alexandra and Sienna we will see you at 7”
“ Wait why aren’t they helping with the dinner?”
Lily laughs “ Your kidding right? They are presidential legacies they are not even rushing their both already sisters”
“ Seriously she gets a pass she was raised by humans!”
Helen clears her throat “ Again if there is an issue Mrs.” She looks down at her paper “Barnes? As in Patrick’s daughter?”
“ Yeah as in Patrick’s daughter how do you know my father?”
“We went to school together but one more outburst about my God daughter or her friend and you will not be rushing Pi got it?”
Mona huffs “ Yeah whatever”
She walks off and I look at Helen “ Just stay away from her Alexandra”
I nod “ Yes ma’am”
Sienna and I head out to meet the guys at the Grand hall
