We walk to the chem lab and Lily smiles she was pacing “ I thought you forgot”
I sigh “ Sorry it was a long night”
She nods “ I get it had those too when Trent and I first found each other”
Ky kisses my head “ Be right back… I will get the coffee”
“ Oh I’m okay Just..”
“Carmel macchiato upside down with sweet cream instead of milk I know Baby girl”
I turn staring at him “ How the f*ck!”
He chuckles “ The day we met read it on your cup at the Library”
I roll my eyes “ Stalker”
He smiles kissing me “ For you I am”
Lily and I head in to the lab and I make the concentrates and we head to meet everyone for the hike. Ky hands me my coffee and a chocolate crescent roll “ Okay that was not on my cup”
He rolls his eyes “ No but I got myself one and grabbed you one”
Munch chuckles “ Oh young love”
I flip him off “ Suck it Munch”
He grabs his chest “ I’m offended”
I roll my eyes walking off to the girls and we start the hike giggling we get to the top of the mountain and sit around a camp sight eating. Then spend the day hanging with everyone I sit on the edge of the cliff dangling my feet just overwhelmed by all of the socializing
“ You know we can leave anytime right?”
I sigh looking over at him “ I would love to but I am socially drained and that requires going through a crowd”
He smiles sitting next to me “ Or we could just pitch our own tent”
“ Is that allowed?”
He grabs my waist putting me on his lap moving my hair and nuzzling my neck I close my eyes leaning into him “You know we don’t have to do this Baby girl”
“ I’m not ruining your day Ky”
He grabs my chin turning me to face him “ Alex time with you makes my day the requirement for the frat was make the hike and make connections. We did that we can go back to the dorms.” He grabs my waist and in an instant I’m on the ground with him hovering over me “ Or we can pitch a tent and I get you all night” he grabs my hip tighter and I lean up crashing our lips together and we stay locked until he break the kiss out of breath.
I sigh closing my eyes “ If we stay I get you all night?”
he chuckles “That’s the point Princess but….”
He stops and I open my eyes staring at him “ But what Kyan!”
“ If we stay we have to do the midnight run”
I shake my head “ Ky I can’t I’m too tired to control her”
“We can nap before… Babygirl last night was terrible knowing we can stay together tonight I don’t want to give that up”
I sigh “ I know me either” I kiss him softly “ Fine but you guys may have to block if I can’t control her fully”
“ I have to let Munch know why”
I bite my lip looking up at him “ You owe me for this”
He chuckles kissing me hard until we break away breathless again “ I have all night to make it up to you baby girl”
He moves helping me up and we walk to everyone else grabbing a tent and setting up I climb in and we lay down as he holds me I can’t help but fall asleep. I have not felt safe since the moment I found out I was a links but when I am with Ky I feel like no one and nothing can touch me.
We get up for the midnight run and we are having a ton of fun. Someone runs up beside us and starts moving nuzzling Ky and I turn growling he tries to stop her and. I lunge getting pinned down by Bo and Munch I loose control nearly all the way and shift back to human before I go full Links.
I move the guys just staring at the now two human body’s in front of me and tears fill my eyes.
Ky moves toward me quickly pulling me on his lap “ You okay?”
I nod leaning against him “ If I shift again it will not be pretty”
He grabs my waist kissing my head “ Just ride on my back Babygirl we will head back”
I look up at him and he gives me a knowing sigh. We get back to the camp and I walk In the tent grabbing my stuff
“Alex what are you doing?”
“ Going back to my dorm”
He grabs my waist turning me to face him “ Stop it Alexandra”
I push him away “ F*ck you Kylan go screw your Ex you looked mighty comfy there”
“Comfy?”
“ Yeah Ky comfy you nuzzled her back if that’s what you want f*ck it reject me because I am not doing a back and forth BS!”
I turn to walk away and he grabs me taking us to the ground “ Stop it Alex”
I push him away “ I Alexandra Laylani…..” his lips crash to mine he grabs my waist turning my head and I feel his fangs before I can even object I pass out.
