Meeting the Dean

I walk to the office very aware that a linebacker build man is still following me trying to be sneaky about it. I turn right before I enter the building

“ Can I help you with something or is following me just a kick?”

He chuckles “ I mean it could be… But no I actually live right there” he points at the dorm right beside the deans office “ For now that is until I get into Alpha Pi”

“ Mm great a stalker and a frat boy”

He chuckles “ Again not a stalker although for you I would be and it’s sort of my family legacy at least one of us have to join and seeing how my brother is tied at the hip to Sienna it definitely won’t be him”

I roll my eyes and giggle a little “ Yeah okay I see that”

He smiles “ so you uh gonna give me your name yet?”

I raise an eyebrow “ What your brother didn’t tell you?”

“No he did but I would like a personal intro if that’s not too much to ask?”

I roll my eyes again walking toward reaching out my hand Alexandra Pierce and no we have no relation”

He shakes my hand and I take a deep breath feeling electricity between our touch I pull away gulping. “I um I should go”

“ Nice to meet you Alexandra”

I nod “ um yeah you to Ky”

“ Kyan actually and my brothers name is Bodan”

“ Cool um I’m just going to um…” I point to the deans office “ Yeah”

He chuckles “ Yeah you do that”

I scramble into the Admin office and lean against the door. What the hell was that? It was like every fiber of my being both supernatural and non wanted to jump in that man’s arms.

I close my eyes breathing for a second just trying to get that feeling out of my head. I close my eyes seeing him the huge linebacker mountain of a 6’5 man with those bright green eyes and tussled brown hair. No Ali snap out of it your here to start a new life to find out where you belong not get puppy love over your roommate’s boyfriends brother.

I sigh opening my eyes and heading up to the Deans office knocking the door swings open “ Come in Miss Pierce”

I walk in and he looks up smiling “ please have a seat”

I nod taking a seat “ Sir did I do something?”

He chuckles “ Goodness know what would give you that idea?” He pauses “ Oh never mind I guess being summoned to the Dean before classes even start is sort of unorthodox”

I nod “ Yes sir just a little”

“ Well I just wanted to make sure you where settled some benefactors of this school where very keen on you being here and especially for me to suggest you to Rush Luna Pi”

I huff “ No offense sir but a sorority isn’t exactly my cup up tea”

“ Perhaps not but you are a legacy Alexandra. You are also an unclaimed shifter being in a sorority will protect you from falling into the wrong crowd and perhaps the wrong pack”

I just stare at him “ Sorry um legacy? So my mom was in Luna Pi?”

“ Yes but that is all I am allowed to say. But I can say this the answers to your past your parents past are here Alexandra they will guide you but don’t let them define you”

“ Did you know them personally… My parents that is”

He nods “ I find it important to know all my students Alexandra.. By the way I took the liberty of changing your last name on our transcripts as well as all systems so you can get your student ID with the new name on it and you won’t be confused with the Pierce brothers land their family.”

“ Is it theirs?” He looks at me quizzically “ My new name is it one of my parents names?”

He shakes his head “ No it is one of the benefactors that is paying for your tuition speaking of” he slides my tuition check back to me along with a card “ There is a spending allowance of 2,000 per month on that card for your essentials all your books and your food in the grand hall are covered from you scanning your student ID”

“ um okay thank you?”

I look at the papers he slides me Alexandra Moor.

“ Now if you will excuse me I need to go to the orientation assembly your more than welcome to grab your ID and come”

I nod getting up I head to the Admissions office to get a student ID and the name on it is Alexandra Moor. Then head to the Assembly I see Sienna and Bo and she waves pointing beside her I nod and go sit down beside her

“ Now who is following who?”

I roll my eyes “ It’s an assembly d.ck open to the public”

He chuckles and Dean Wither clears his throat “Hello students”

I feel a hot breath on my ear “ I thought your last name was Pierce”

I get tense at the sensation of his breath on my ear “ it is pay attention”

“ Today you are Joining The Linx Academy as the future class of 2026. Now I hope you have all found your dorms and have settled in. You have all been placed in your dorm as per your admissions testing”

“ Dorm superior, Those students who test beyond average for all aspects of the test. Dorm Alpha those who tested above average on all but one subject of the test, Dorm Beta Two subjects, Dorm Warrior that one is obvious people your all tough, And finally dorm laden level 1-6 you all tested average but that does not make you average”

I look over at Kyan “ What dorm are you in?”

He smiles at me “ Superior gorgeous, why Jealous?”

I roll my eyes and face the front again I fell his hand touch my thigh and take a sharp breath.. just stay focused Ali your here for a new start and answers. He leans to my ear again “ you good you seem tense”

“ Fine” I sort of choke the word out in a whisper.

“ Now I would like to introduce you all to the fraternities and sororities of The Linx Academy campus. First we have the Apha Si guys start swooping and Kyan leans to my ear again” Wolves” Luna Si some girls cheer. Next we have Zeta phi “ Bears”, and Zeta Nue. Next up Phi Delta” Witches” Phi Nue. Alpha Pi he starts swooping and it makes me giggle a little, Luna Pi I cheer a little and he looks at me leaning back to my ear “ What you a sorority girl now?”

I smile “I might be never know”

And last but not least Nue Zeta Nue” Dragons”

He places his hand back on my thigh and I try to relax a little as the tingling sensation starts running up my leg again.

he leans back as the Dean talks about expectations of all students.

“ Now I would like to pass the podium to one of our main Benefactors MRs Helen Moor.” I sit up a little as she comes on stage.

“ Hello students It is nice to see new faces on campus as well as some that look familiar I can see a reseblexncd in some of you from your family that has came before you.”

she looks toward my side of the room and I feel as if she is looking directly at me “ Today you start a brand new chapter of life the history I. These halls will guide you to greatness just be sure to find the greatness within yourself along the way” She smiles and then they end the assembly I stand up with everyone and Kyan stands behind me

His hand moves to my hip and I tense

“ Relax Alexandra”

I sigh “ I’m going to go talk to Mrs.Moor”

“ Is that whose name is on your ID?”

I nod “ Think so she is my benefactor”

“ Benefactor?”

“ I will explain some other time”

He chuckles as we get to the isle his hand leaves my hip and we part ways.
