The Linx Academy

A new Begining

I pull my luggage from the back of the cab looking around to see where I need to go I am in the Alpha dorms. I find my dorms getting my orientation packet and head to my room laying down on the bed that is hidden in the nook of the room.

The only reason I am here is to find a semblance of where I come from. The last foster home I was at suggested that Linx Acadamy would fulfill my needs whatever that meant still haven’t figured it out. The door to my room opens and I sit up from my bed hearing giggling.

“Bo would you stop it already you are only two doors down”

He grabs her waist “And in a single all the more reason for you to stay with me”

“Bo you know I…” she turns seeing me with a pure look of discontent.

I mean don’t get me wrong there is nothing bad about couples going to each others dorm rooms but they just got here and it is not a very good first impression of someone that I have to live with for the next year of my life.

“ Sorry he can be handy” She breaks away from the guy walking toward me outstretching her hand “ I’m Sienna Silvers your roommate”

I get up shaking her hand “ Alexandra Pierce but you can call me Ali”

the guy walks behind her “ Sorry about that I’m Bo pierce nice to meet you”

I smile shaking his hand “ nice last name”

“Same are we related?”

I laugh mostly to myself “ Doubtful I got my last name from the safe haven box my parents stuffed me in”

Sienna sighs sadly “I’m sorry to hear that”

I shrug “Don’t be it’s just part of life”

I turn going back to my bed and sitting down “No offense but I’m not really a social person”

Bo shrugs “ None taken Sienna will probably be in my room most of the time so you have the dorm to yourself. There is a huge dorm welcome party tonight if you feel social enough”

I nod “ Thanks but I doubt it I will probably just go to the library you guys have fun though”

They put her stuff away and head out I grab my stuff heading to the library.

I wonder why everyone says this is the best place for me I mean sure it’s a great college on paper but the people all seem the same as the rest of the world. Stuck up and too busy to notice things around them.

I go to the library finding a good English lit book and sit down at a desk reading.

“ So um come here often?”

I look up seeing Sienna’s boyfriend again “ um no I just told you I was coming here are you stalking me?”

He chuckles “ no offense gorgeous but we have never met”

I roll my eyes “ And no offense ashhole but you where just all over Sienna and I am trying to read in peace so”

I get up gathering my stuff and he chuckles “ oh I see the issue you met Bo…… Well my name is Ki I’m his twin brother”

I look at him raising an eyebrow “ twin brother that’s suppose to work?”

“ I mean it’s true so yeah… anyways what are you reading”

He goes to look at my book and I jerk away “ Look Bo or Ki or whatever your name is at the moment I don’t want whatever high school drama this is so later”

I grab the rest of my stuff walking away and he starts following me “ Wait come on I didn’t get your name”

“ Ask your brother” I put my book up on the desk to check it out and then head back to my dorm ignoring the linebacker build that is following me.

When I get to my room there is a box sitting on my bed and a note attached I open it reading “ Hello Alexandra we should have a chat please come by my office when you are finished putting g your stuff away Dean Withers”

Great first day and I am already being summoned by the Dean I haven’t even attended a class yet. What could I possibly have done already. I sigh opening the box and things start flying out spinning around me it makes me giggle as it all finds its place around my part of the room what is this how did that happen. I keep giggling at the little things still finding their place.

“ Cleaning magic nice wish I would have known you had that earlier”

I turn seeing Sienna “ Oh um I don’t it all came out of this box. I guess it was from the Dean?”

She raises an eyebrow “ The Dean? Are you a scholarship kid or something?”

“ Um no I am paying my way through college same as everyone else”

She looks at me quizzically “ We don’t pay our pack does didn’t your pack fosters tell you that?”

“ I don’t have a pack so no I was in human foster care”

She gets a sad look “ oh I am so sorry. I didn’t realize you where a rouge”

I giggle “ Again I’m not see in order to be a rogue you have to be born from a rogue cast out or become one yourself. Seeing as how my parents gave me up I am still technically in a pack I just have no idea what pack. Or where I am actually from so I am unclaimed not rogue”

“ Well I can claim you”

I roll my eyes as her boyfriend and the guy from the library comes in as he smirks at me “ Ewe Ky no keep your eyes off my roommate”

He chuckles “ not like she makes that easy”

I roll my eyes grabbing the note off my bed “ Well you guys have fun I have to go see the Dean”
