And before he could work on something sarcastic to say, Hannah pushed the door open and walked inside as if she owned it. But maybe she did. After all, his father favoured her more than any of his own sons. He wasn’t sure what his f*****g deal was, but he wasn’t in the right mind to go too deep into it either. “What do you want?” he asked, exasperated, while massaging his temples. “Wow!” she exclaimed dramatically. “Someone’s in a good mood.” Ajax rolled his eyes. “Don’t worry, I’m not here to stop you from…” she sussed his situation. The empty glass on the desk. An almost empty bottle of alcohol in his grasp.
