Chapter 2

Our beloved Witchy Vinnie Arrington is penning down some collective information on the blank pages of her diary to make her revamped. She is sitting in a corner of the Flower shop- Unnoticed. Her deep thinking gets wrinkles to smile on her lips which terrifies Diana and after shu-ing! off the customer who was just wandering past his time. She runs towards Vinnie and settles down. 'What's wrong with you? Are you scheming something?' Diana gets concerned about herself. 'Why do you feel like I'm scheming something?' Vinnie after getting back from her daydream. 'You smirked.' Terrifyingly Diana informs. 'I didn't. I was just smiling on a thought. Why do you people think so evil about me? I'm normal like you all.' Vinnie's disappointment with her personality judgment was annoying her. 'No, don't get me wrong. But your perspective of normal is differently normal from our actual normal.' Everything about this conversation sounds abnormal to me. Is Diana losing her mind with her age? 'WHAT?!' Frustrated Vinnie shuts her diary and fiercely looks at Diana. 'What I am saying is...if there is a thought which can make you smile as you smirk then that particular thought has to be illegal or non-ethical for sure.' Diana's logic is acceptable. 'I'm thinking about Knash.' Vinnie's smirk can make us think about how dirty she must be imagining the boy. 'Your new one?' Excited Diana's eyes twinkled. 'Nope.' 'You never think about your Ex'. Then who?!' 'The Boy-From-Heaven.' Diana almost Gasp and tap her cheeks. Even though she is in her 30's, the topic of boys makes her a teenage girl to get hook up with. 'You found him? How?' 'I just have to follow him, get some information from social media though he is not so active on it. Which made it very difficult for me to get his history but as the Assistant Editor I managed to.' Vinnie barged as if she did a favor on her own self. 'Wow! You stalked him down.' 'Wha- wait! You're getting me wrong. I just followed him.' Vinnie gets degenerate. 'That's known as Stalking in our culture.' 'Do you want to know about him or you desire to get a kick on your a*s?' Vinnie stares with enormous options for Diana. Diana gives a hand massage to Vinnie and smiles in a way that showed her interest in the Boy-from-heaven. 'His name is Knash Burton.' 'Sounds out of town.' 'Yup! He moved to town when was in High School. With his single mother. Who had a Financial business background and set up her business in no time.' Vinnie exaggerates a feminine mental power. 'Rich! No wonder his skin is so clear.' Diana point outs. As it's difficult for the common man to inherit such a healthy glowing skin without any derma's expenses. 'Well, do you think just with a family background a boy could catch my eyes?' 'I'm listening.' 'He owns a cake cafe. Known as ROSE-CUPCAKE. And guess what's? That's near to my office.' Vinnie winks and points her plus point. 'OhLala! But he seems to be my age.' 'You're wrong. He is my age.' Diana gasps. 'You even confirmed his age? And what an achievement at your age?' 'He got that cafe from his mother but then he paid off her and owned it.' 'Where the hell did he earned so much money?' Diana questions. 'That I don't know...' Vinnie shows her disappointment. 'Gosh! There is something you can't know.' 'It's not like I can't know, I just don't know for a while.' 'You sound so serious about him. But trust me, this guy...has my respect. I mean at your age he owns a cafe. Just as stupid as you. I mean your parents are loaded and have a better position but he works in a cafe and you work in your parent's company as an intern. Even left the state and moved to this town just to live as you like.' 'That reminds me. I'm going to the state for the weekend. Some business and get to gather.' Vinnie reminds.'And I don't regret anything. I agreed to it with my choice. Just like Knash did. And that's the attractive fact about him. We live according to our choices.' Vinnie explains her and Knash's perspective. 'No, but seriously, Vin- you're getting too serious about this guy. I know you lay your eyes on any handsome guy...date them for a month and dump them even when they are serious about you. But you never stalk or got so many things about anyone like you did for this guy.' Diana shows her concern for Vinnie. 'Chill! Bro, it's not easy for me to fall for someone constant. And if I get constant...I'll make sure never to let go of it.' Vinnie tabs Diana's shoulders with assuredness. 'What if he already has someone? He was here for his friend's birthday, remember?' 'It's a friend, not a girlfriend. And as I said, if it's constant I won't let it go. I'll make sure to snatch him in my trap.' 'You bitch.' Vinnie's determination scares Diana. After the weekends, Vinnie again goes on with her stalking business. She hides behind a banyan tree with is across the street from Knash's Cafe. By where she can't exactly watch Knash working on his reception. With his Black Cap on his head, his eyes are not visible but his Red T-shirt with the Black strips can shape his body muscles. His black apron covers his thighs but the symbol of the cafe switched on the apron seems too attractive while being on Knash. Two small Roses are welded with a small cupcake. That symbol is reasonable with the name of the cafe but it seems to have more than the title connotation. Vinnie spends her lunch break just sneaking of Knash by hiding behind the tree. She gets a message from her superior. "Vinnie, Carol announced an urgent meet of the financial team as the authors have arrived for their quota." Tee Messages. "So, what's with me?" Vinnie replies. "You have to get the coffee and batteries for the authors as our office's coffee machine is under maintenance." "Okay, tell me the count," Vinnie replies. "5 cold coffee and 6 pastries. One for me. (Naughty emoji)" "Pastries?" "Yeah! There is a famous cafe across the street. Known as Rose Cupcake. Get it from there. Carol always orders from that cafe." Vinnie gets stunned. "Be quick. The meeting starts in 20 minutes." Vinnie almost drops her cell at stares at the cafe where Knash is serving. 'I never thought I'd be this sacred to face my crush. I've always been confident enough to face my crush and make them fall for me. Why is this so different for him.' 'No, Vinnie Arrington! You can not forget your position. You're the princess, and the princess never lacks confidence.' Vinnie sighs and moves to the cafe.
