“Please stay.” PAUL In the morning, I’m tired and it shows. I didn’t sleep well by dint of twisting and turning in bed thinking about my relationship with Paul. I have dark circles I don’t even bother to hide; a pair of glasses will do the trick. “You look horrible,” Georgina greets me with her usual kindness. “Did you have a restless night?” I see Paul turning his head toward me and I wonder what the best way to react is. He probably thinks I slept with Neil, which is, let’s face it, my fault for once. “I sort of did,” I answer finally without further explanation.
