I knew shifter werewolves were strong, but I didn't know the ones from the Crescent pack were stronger, more intimidating, and more frightening.
Being knocked down with one single lift and finding my body smashed against the tree was enough to send my entire body into loads of pain.
"Weak, dear Luna. Is this how you will protect our pack and bear the next alpha king?"
She said, walking towards me. I struggled so badly to lift myself. Every movement I made, the pain kept increasing.
I watched her walk towards me as she bent down to my eye level.
"We just started. Why don't you f*****g stand up, Aveline?"
She sneered, roughly kicking me in the stomach, and a scream erupted from my lips, not bearing the pain anymore.
