13 Marilyn Mackey’s living room was small, but it didn’t feel cramped, even with a shadow box, couch, and upright piano. Erin couldn’t help but notice that, other than a picture of Pope Benedict and a statue of the Virgin Mary, the only things decorating the walls and the shadow box were framed pictures of Justin – a photographic portrayal of his life from boyhood until his mid-twenties. The last picture captured the Justin whom Erin had gotten to know – a handsome twenty-something guy. Erin made her way across the room to the upright piano in the far corner. Sitting on top of the piano were several photographs of a young boy, about ten, and a girl who appeared to be about eight.
