"How did your observations goes? Did you find something interesting besides the treasury inside the palace?"
Nesrin gently wipe her lips with a table napkin and walked towards him.
"My lady, it is as you said. This world is good for the three of us to get stronger." Sebastian smiled and picked up a white rose.
He removed its thorns and gently put the flower on her ears. The rose contrasted the color of her hair pleasingly. She was simply too good-looking and too eye-catching to be ignored.
"I was observing one of the biggest household in the city and brought back knowledge for us to train. I will teach you the martial arts I saw and train it with you later."
"Why does it have to be later?" She asked. Seeing his complicated expression, Nesrin sighed,
"Say it."
Sebastian tried his best to know about the lifestyle of this world. It was a little bit different from their original world. There was some bad and good environment here but it wasn't that bad for them to live in.
Here, everyone has the chance to become one of the best. While in their world, only those who have innate abilities can move forward and have the chance to live and traverse the world.
Sighing, Sebastian replied;
"As we had heard before, martial arts would be useless if one cannot cultivate. Having the chance to cultivate means having power beyond human capabilities. In other words, just learning martial arts is useless when up against a cultivator. At the end of the day, this is still a cultivation world. The level of their strength still lies in the level of their cultivation. Martial arts is just a foundation."
Nesrin stared at him. What Sebastian said is true. She was too complacent and almost forgot her fist priority after coming here.
There are steps to know you are the best or the strongest here. And all of it depends on their cultivation ranks and the foundation of their martial art skills.
Even Nesrin who consider herself somewhat strong might be beaten half to death if she made the wrong move.
"I see. Then did you find out how to start cultivating?"
"My lady, I heard it was very simple. According to the information I've gathered so far, you just have to enter a meditative state and feel the circulation of spirit energy around you and absorbed that energy to enter your body."
"Hmm, it do sound easy. Let me try and feel it. Good work, Sebastian. You did such a great job. You can rest now."
"It is my job to do so, my lady."
IN THE quiet hill, inside the yard of a lone mansion surrounded by enchanted red roses was a woman. Her eyes were close, and her mind is empty.
The world came to a stand still and the air stop blowing.
Her skin is covered in a very faint and smooth white light as she entered the meditation state. Even though her eyes are close, Nesrin could see and feel something surrounding her. She could feel the warm and cold aura from the specks of light towering over her body.
Each of them has their own unique colors. They are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, silver and black small balls of light around her.
Since people living her said that she just need to absorbed this light, that is what she's going to do.
With the desire to get stronger using the power of this world, Nesrin greedily sucked all of that colorful energy inside her body. It entered her skin without any resistance at all.
The two servants watch her with piercing gazes, ready to take action if something went wrong. They had already enchant magic spells in the area so no one could disturbed her if someone happened to passed by.
They knew that their lady could fight, even to the death. After all, she was taught like that by her stepmother. She taught her to risk her life no matter what and no matter the cost.
She was a weapon raise to be the Queen's sword. But the evil stepmother did not intend to teach her magic. Afraid that one day, Nesrin would turn her back on her.
Nesrin Dawn is feared in their original world. However, the person who made the world tremble and strikes fear in the hearts of everyone was just a dog in front of the ruler.
A dog who only obeys what her owner says.
She was also beautiful but described as deadly.
A puppet raise to be pretty and train to kill.
But in reality, she was as pure as the a white rose that was just tainted by dust and rain of blood. She knows nothing about the outside world. Her brain only consists of missions that must be executed in success.
The worst thing was that, she was a prisoner of her own kingdom. A princess treated as a punching bag. A thing that those people goes to let off some steam.
She gave her complete loyalty but what she experience was of abused.
Her resistance, mistakes, failures and refusal to do something; she was put in a curse by the person who she seeks love, attention and warmth the most. It was heartbreaking.
Their lady, who had suffered so much in the hands of the Queen, need to stay away from that woman. In the end, they decided to helped her escape such a cage.
After running for days, weeks, and even months from their pursuers; in their desperate attempt of escaping, a portal suddenly appeared. A portal that showed a blurry image of a bright road.
Afraid of what's up ahead, they still enter without any hesitation in their hearts.
It was better to die in the hands of something unknown than dying by the hands of someone they hated to the core. That's what they thought while they entered the portal. They never expect that they will emerge inside another world.
At first, they could not believe what they were seeing. But they were alive. And in a world that looks a bit different from theirs.
