Eva's pov
The house was silent when Evangeline returned. Her mother wasn't at home to taunt her neither were her sisters
which she was grateful for. She didn't have the strength to deal with either of them. She was too exhausted and the pain in her body was excruciatingly painful. She could hardly stand on her feet, she slightly swayed, her head spinning.
She needed a good night's rest and some food. But Eva didn't have the appetite to eat anything right now. Her mind was filled with thoughts of Killian.
She couldn't stop thinking about the pained look in his eyes when she told him to stay away from her.
