The thing is, the man seems to be enjoying what he’s doing as he suffocated her slowly and gently. He stood there, lost in his trance, as he magically removed all of the remaining air in her. Ada dropped to her knees with her palms pressing the ground as if the act would fight the suffocation.
Can anyone tell this man to make this quick…
Just as she thought her final breath was about to seep out of her, she saw a figure leaping mid-air, and it sprang directly to the man who’s currently suffocating her. The suffocation suddenly stopped as she heard bodies stumbling to the ground.
Ada coughed hysterically as she caressed her neck as if it would help her replenish her oxygen loss. She could hear the groans of the scuffling men, but she wasn’t just in the mood to spectate yet. She wondered how many choking sessions she’d undergo more in this place.
When she finally caught up with her near-death experience, she looked at her killer and her savior, who are still engaged in combat. She was a bit horrified to see a familiar beast scuffling with her killer, the humanoid horse.
It was Jaxx!
This is the first time she had glimpsed at the entirety of the werehorse… The entirety of Jaxx.
In all fairness, his gray skin doesn’t look filthy. His body is a bit stretched, that he looked slender and a bit taller, and he looked skinny, like he hasn’t been fed grass for ages. He has the face of a horse only with bright yellowish eyes, and he has these sharp, long fangs in his mouth that made him look terrifying instead of the usual closed and adorable muzzle of a horse.
His long, black, straight, layered mane flows down to his rump. His two human-like arms are stretched into the ground, and instead of having fingers, he has these sharp claws. His two legs are slightly bent like the limbs of a horse, and she now realized why he’s wearing those weird shoes, because instead of feet, he has a pair of black hooves which are almost the size of a human foot.
Jaxx is currently holding down the man who suffocated her on the ground with his claws. So this air-sucking man wasn’t strong after all, but he was undoubtedly putting up a fight as he tried to grip Jaxx’s neck despite Jaxx overwhelming him with strength.
Ada doesn’t know what to do. Should she run away now? Or is there anything she can do to help Jaxx? Just then, leaves and dust started to accumulate in the air before it spun around both men with an increasing pressure per second. It wasn’t as powerful and sinister as the one that struck them at their garden back in Runda Sevilla, but it wasn’t feeble as well. The air-sucking man is summoning the wind to distract Jaxx!
What the he*l is this man? What the he*l is this f*cking place!
Then, the mini-tornado stopped, and he heard Jaxx’s pained growls, and that is when she realized that the air-sucking man is now trying to suffocate Jaxx.
I am so done with this suffocation thing!
She sprang up to her feet and swiftly ran towards the two. The air manipulating man was too engrossed in finishing Jaxx that he didn’t get to hear her approaching footsteps. She whole-heartedly kicked the man in the face several times, which immediately rendered him unconscious while Jaxx panted heavily on top of the man. At least he was still alive, but she wanted to finish this air-sucking man herself.
“You dirty little as*wipe!” she hissed at the now-slumbering man before she threw another set of kicks on his face, but Jaxx caught her foot that she almost lost her balance. She frightfully stared at him for a while before she managed to remove her foot from his claw-y grasp as she suddenly remembered she isn’t wearing any undergarments.
“What? Aren’t we going to kill him?” she questioned him despite being scared, but she heard no answer. Instead, he got up to his feet, and he picked her up effortlessly with both arms like she’s a lightweight kid before he leaped high into the air. Before she knew it, she was retching nonstop in mid-air, then he’d suddenly dive down violently as if he wasn’t carrying any passenger in his arms. And that leaping and diving went on for several minutes, and he has clearly no intention of being gentle with a first-timer. She closed her eyes and held on to the only piece of clothing that covers her, afraid that he’d catch a glimpse of her n***d body underneath the cloak as they continued to dive and soar.

Nissa lost her balance and quickly stumbled on the ground as she was totally taken by surprise by Zeya’s sudden assault, not to mention Xena and Cloy’s gaped eyes and mouths. Zeya was even surprised herself. Nissa looked up at her in confusion while slowly groping the jaw that took the hit of her furious fist.
“Just reminding you of who’s in charge here,” she seethed at Nissa, gritting her teeth. She felt Nissa held the urge to fight back as she looked at her now in contempt before she got herself up. “If you want to become a leader that much, build your own squad,” she said nonchalantly as if she hadn’t lost to her emotions a while ago. “But, while you’re in mine, learn how to cooperate.”
She didn’t hear Nissa’s usual ridiculous clap-backs, but they all heard the sound of incoming hooves. She squinted her eyes as she saw Jaxx appeared with that lost lady still nestled in his arms.
“Why did you return her here!” It was more of a denuncation than a question. However, Jaxx wasn’t a bit alarmed by her blatant display of exasperation.
“I found them! I found their camp!” Jaxx yelled at her after he transformed back into his non-demon form, with Ada still in his arms.
Ada stared straight at his face in shock and confusion. Her face had become paler than the first time she saw her. “Will you please let me down now?” Ada pleaded to Jaxx. She saw Jaxx’s surprise as if he forgot about his passenger’s existence. He gently released Ada from his arms.
“I clearly told you to send her back to the camp!” she thundered back at Jaxx. Why are these brats such a headache?
“Because I pried a little bit, and I found Wiccan prisoners being held there. There are like a herd of unusual rezogs guarding the camp, and we encountered an ifer,” Jaxx cited, and he sounded proud of his discoveries.
“Then, what about the safety of the lady?” Cloy chimed in. She almost rolled her eyes in despise.
These f*cking idiots.
Suddenly, a cold wind blew, and what follows left them all stunned as new sets of rezogs they had just eliminated a while ago appeared around them once again.
Zeya couldn’t help but curse loudly, especially when an unforesee thing happened that stunned them all.
