“Hostia p*ta (holy f*ck)!” Ada was utterly dumbfounded as she gazed at her reflection in the walled mirror. Not only the color of her hair changed, everything about her did, except for the shade of her eyes.
Her once rounded face became oval, like Kirsten Stewart! Her morena skin became fair— no! Her skin is now dazzling white, as if she had her entire body bleached.
Now that she noticed it, she’s currently wearing the same clothes as Zachia. However, she looked more stunning, seeing how her simple clothes showed off the curves she always wished she had. The flab in her arms vanished. She pulled up her dress and saw her legs became longer and slender. She could be shooting about five and a half inches by now! She put her hands on her waist, and she couldn't help but marvel at what she had felt.
Dios mío! This isn’t an optical illusion! My waist really narrowed down!
Then, her hands went for her chest and automatically groped her perky bust, and she even squeezed those repeatedly in utmost awe!
Holy sh*t! I've always wished for these! These aren’t as big as Nissa’s, but these will surely do!
Her body became stunning— no, sexy is the most appropriate description. And, she’s sort of emitting a different ethereal glow.
I f*cking look gorgeous! And hot! OMG! I totally looked like a goddess! Now I know why Nissa’s giving me those irate looks.
“Uh, Ada?” Zachia pulled her back to reality, giving her a disgusted glare. She instantly removed her hands on her bre*sts and gave Zachia an I-can-explain look.
“Oh, sorry! I was totally… a-astounded!" she slurred like an embarrassed kid. However amazed she might be, she couldn't help but pull herself back into the grim reality. This isn’t her. This body isn’t hers.
Who is this woman? And, why am I in her body? Ni’mula, what have we done to this poor woman’s soul?
“Ada?” Zachia distracted her contemplation for the second time.
She chuckled as she looked at Zachia. “Oh, I’m sorry for zoning out again.”
Zachia smiled at her. “Do you want to watch the event with me?”
Her eyes flashed, and she instantly squeezed Zachia’s cheeks. “Good idea!”
I have to find Zeya. Maybe she has answers to some of my questions.

After they got out of the mirror room, they entered a small chamber. And inside was a doorway that would probably lead them to a secret tunnel. Zachia just escorted her, and she agreed because she knew in her heart that Zachia could be trusted. Zachia lit an oil lamp before entering the dim passageway.
Honestly, Ada started to panic as the passageway started to narrow down, that they even needed to walk sideways to pass through. She can’t hear anything in there, apart from their shallow breathing. She’s also afraid that she might find a corpse or anything freaky in there. What if the beasts are just hiding there?
No. I trust her.
Then, after several minutes of shuffling the passageway, they came to the end of the tunnel, where they found another door.
“Woah!” she applauded at the sight as soon as they entered the door. The tunnel led them to another chamber, and it looked the same as the one on the other end. The only difference is, she can hear the muffled booming sound of a roaring crowd outside from here.
“Here we go,” Zachia gleamed with excitement as she turned the knob handle of the main door of the chamber.
A gleam of sunlight dazzled her eyes, and she covered her eyes with her left palm.
Finally, a ray of sunshine…
Suddenly, the thunderous bellowing of the crowd almost made her ears bleed. They walked out of the castle’s secret door located at the far southeast wing of the castle. She couldn’t even see the door as soon as it closed. It’s like an enchanted door or an optical illusion so that no outsiders can enter the castle with it.
“That’s amazing! How did you find out about that?” she uttered in astonishment. She didn’t wait for Zachia’s response because her eyes and mouth widened as she looked above her head. She blinked her eyes repeatedly as she stared at the enormous brick castle she bad-mouthed just a while ago. She couldn’t even see its entirety because the bright sky was blinding her. The castle was enclosed with colossal walls made of brick. The walls are about twice the length of the main castle, and there are watchtowers in every corner of the wall. Now, she wondered to herself if those walls were really made of brick at all. Nothing makes sense in this realm, after all.
It could be possible that those walls are made of titans too! Who knows?
Then the crowd harshly booed in unison, and she exchanged glances with Zachia. “Hurry, the battle could be ending by now,” Zachia yelled at her.
“Okay!” she shouted back. They roamed endlessly around the exterior of the castle, and she couldn’t even tell how far they’ve gone. She’d indeed be lost here if she’s ever left alone. They walked upon an elevated bridge passage, and she finally saw where the noise was coming from.
She saw a huge arena enclosed with the front side of the castle’s wings. There are hundreds of spectators standing around the center. Zachia and her squeezed themselves into the rowdy crowd until they were able to see what’s happening in the middle.
Her eyes narrowed as she stared at the ongoing battle at the center of the arena.
What the he*l is this?
She saw strange animals like a bear, wolf, lion, gorilla, and an eagle scuffling with five grubby, Shrek-looking creatures.
What kind of brute-fight is this? This is animal cruelty!
However, as she looked closely at the animals, she realized that they aren’t normal. Their size is enormous than usual. Imagine an eagle as big as the gorilla. They are also muscular, as if they are hitting the gym every day.
Is this some kind of an experiment gone wrong like that in the Rampage movie?
She looked at Zachia, who’s currently enjoying the battle, and gently tapped her arm. Zachia looked at her immediately, and she gave Zachia a what’s-going-on look. “Chimera Shifters!” Zachia yelled at her.
Shifters like Zeya’s team?
If only Zeya’s squad looked normal like these animals.
Wait, is Jaxx a Chimera Shifter too? He looked like a horse. No, he doesn’t look like a horse at all. He looked like a humanoid horse, like those illustrations I often see in horror sites.
She tapped Zachia’s arm once again. “What about the animals’ opponents?” she screamed. The crowd cheered once the bear hurled an ogre-looking monster in the air.
“The Troll Hunters!” Zachia bellowed, overwhelming the crowd’s rambling. She panicked when she saw the troll falling to his death.
Oh no! He’s going to die!
The huge eagle soared through the air and quickly caught the troll, who was only inches away from his death. The crowd roared once more, and she found herself cheering with them too. However, the eagle then threw the troll he had just saved outside the ring, and the crowd cheered happily.
Even the Troll Hunters looked more presentable enough than Zeya’s squad. The trolls looked like dirty, angry overweight men with rather amusing faces and expressions. They are pretty tall, probably seven-foot-high, but they aren’t tall enough to be considered giants.
This world is crazy!
A loud voice suddenly boomed from nowhere, announcing that the Chimera Shifters won the round, and the crowd went crazy once again. Then, after a long ad libitum, it was announced that the next round is a battle between the Elven League and the Demon Squad, and the crowd has gone wild once again.
Ada doesn’t know why her heart skipped a beat. But, she realized why as soon as she saw a familiar group of hideous beasts walking towards the center.
The Demon Squad…
