Ada felt that her heart could burst at any moment as she dashed through the shady jungle of Klompen. It was denser than Wildwoods, though, a little less creepy than the f*******n Forest. When Jaxx told her that they’re going for a hike, she hesitated. She had tried trekking before, and she ended up with bruises, wounds, and fractured ribs. Her past body didn’t allow her to become fascinated with the recreation at all. It just made her tired, anxious, and sick. Thinking that she had a different body now, she thought that maybe it could work. Plus, it’s better to tag along with Jaxx than to be left alone on that creekside forever.
