THE CLUBHOUSE
The youth of Ivanivka made merry at the village evening get-together, till suddenly out of the blue someone blurted out:
“Let’s go to the clubhouse!”
Even the youth of Ivanivka occasionally want (though very rarely) to go to the clubhouse!
And so they headed off…
And came up to the clubhouse...
And went in…
And knocked on the door…
“Who’s there?”
“Us young people! We’ve come for some political education, to liquidate our illiteracy, and generally speaking, to have a good read… Because we’re still pawing each other in the evenings, just like before the Revolution. Our hands hurt, we want to give them a rest!”
