You front up, for example, to an institution which has the right to send you on a mission abroad, and you say: “You know, it’s about time I upgraded my knowledge. The way my research is going, I’m lost without experience abroad. Send me on a mission abroad, and strike me dead if I don’t complete the construction of socialism in two weeks. One, two – and there’s your socialism for you!” And, of course, you show them a certificate from the institute you work at, where it says that you really do need to go abroad.
