BERLIN’S MUSEUMS
It is of uttermost importance, you know, to see the museums! To be in Berlin and not visit the museums is an out and out crime! Berlin’s museums are the quintessence of all museums… You know what German culture is? Well, in the museums they’ve amassed the whole lot! From the most ancient times. From the time the Germans invented the monkey to the present day! Tomorrow morning, straight after breakfast, we’ll do the rounds of the museums.
“We’ll only visit the museums! Soon as we get up, we’ll go and visit the museums. Why on earth come here, if you don’t visit the museums?”
