Raven lay down but no matter what position he took, sleep did not come to him. So, he got up and walked around his house, not expecting his feet to lead him to the guest room where he allowed Hestia to stay last night.
He looked at the empty bed, just like the previous months before he met his secretary. He wondered if what she said was true, that she was already settled and had found an apartment. He remembered her appearance that night when he picked her up and found her sitting by the road. He remembered what she said, her plea for help because she had no one else to turn to.
