Envy took her cell phone out of her pocket, “I’ll call Chad and get him to meet us there.”
Devon took the phone out of her hand and shoved it in his front pocket. “This isn’t the place for cops… we don’t want humans getting involved with shifter affairs and I don’t think anyone is in the mood to do this by the book.”
Nick gave Devon a devious smirk. He didn’t want cops there either but it didn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out what Devon was thinking. The truth was, Devon didn’t want Chad there because that would mean Trevor would be there and Devon wanted to keep Envy as far away from Trevor as possible.
Devon saw the knowing look on Nick’s face and growled at him. “Go to hell!”
