They walked in silence for a while, then Aiden broke it. "Is Daniel Chou the guy you've been waiting for these past three years?"
When Aiden suddenly mentioned Daniel Chou, Grace Li's emotions became complicated. She looked at him in surprise, her mind racing with questions: How did he know about Daniel Chou? How did he know I've been waiting for him for three years? Even though she had drunkenly mentioned "a friend" when talking to Aiden about her past with Daniel Chou, how did he figure out that it was her own story?
She tried to act calm and responded, "Nope, you're trippin'."
"You don't like him?" Aiden pressed.
Grace Li immediately shook her head. "No, I don't."
Aiden chuckled lightly, teasing her. "Good thing you don't like him. Otherwise, your taste in men sucks."
