She didn't fall asleep until 1 or 2 a.m. and was up before 6 a.m. It was kind of like the effect of drinking coffee late at night—love was doing the same thing. The dopamine and adrenaline it stirred up kept her central nervous system hyped, leaving her in a state of happy excitement.
