Her lips were soft. Too soft for someone so damn infuriating. She tried to pull away—of course she did—but I wasn’t having it. I deepened the kiss, shoving her back into the cave wall, my hand still firm around her throat. Not tight enough to hurt her. Just enough to remind her she couldn’t always run.
