Chapter 2

He was sitting at his desk when his father came into his office. "Son i think you should see these. Someone sent them by messenger to my office by mistake." His dad said. "What are they?" Mark asked "Just look inside." His dad said And what the pictures he saw off his wife with another man made him throw everything off his desk. So he left his office and went straight to his lawyers office. As soon as he got there he went straight up and said "I need divorce papers written up right away my wife is cheating on me." His lawyer was so stunned all he could do was stare at him with a shocked look on his face. "I need them today asap." Mark said "I'll get right on it Mr. Steeple." His lawyer Paul said "Ok call me when their ready I'll be waiting around here for them." He said About an hour later the papers were written up so he went straight home. About 15 minutes after he got there she came home and as soon as she saw him and probably the papers in his hands she said "What's going on?" "I want a divorce" Mark said "Why what did I do?" she asked "Just sign the damn divorce papers" he yelled and with that she signed the papers and went up to there room probably to pack all her clothes then she came downstairs to leave but before she left the house she turned around and asked one last question " Why are you throwing away 5 yrs of marriage I just don't understand??" she asked After she left he went to his bar and grabbed a scotch and downed it. 5 Years Later He was driving to the restaurant he had an important meeting to get to. When he was by the door someone ran into him. "I'm so sorry I didn't see you there" A familiar voice said "It's ok" He said. So when he looked up there she was his beautiful wife who he's been searching for for like 2 years now. "Hey there babe I've been waiting for you to show up" Some guy said placing a kiss on her lips. Marks face turned from happy to angry. No one kisses or touches my wife except me he was thinking. "Can I talk to you?" Mark asked "No" She said. Then she walked away with this little girl who looked about 5 and the dipshit to go sit at their table. While they we're walking away "Mommy who is that?" The little girl asked. Then he looks up with this look in his eye. Like is she mine could she be. "Daughter! You have a daughter and is that prick behind you her father?" He asked bitterly "No! But for your information me and Ryan has only been dating for like 6 months not that it's any of your business." She snapped at him "It is my business and if you would've had that talk with me you would've known privately. But since you didn't I'm gonna say what I have to say here. We're still married." He said "Wait!! What?? How is that possible? I signed the divorce papers." She said "Seems like you missed a line and I've been trying to find you to tell you but I couldn't find you anywhere. So where have you been anyway?" Mark asked "It's none of your business where I've been your the one who wanted the divorce not me" She spat "Mommy what's going on and who is that man?" The little girl asked "He's nobody baby girl" She said "Well since your still married I don't think we should see each other anymore till you get this all situated" Ryan finally said "Good I didn't want you around my WIFE anyway" Mark said "She's only your wife because of a technicality" Dipshit said. Which pissed him off and Mark punched him right there in the middle of the restaurant. Then Ryan went and punched him right back and then they started fighting on the floor. The manager came up to us and told us to leave the premises. "What was that?" She said to the two grown men. "My daughter was right there and didn't need to see that violence. We're going home I don't want to see either of you again I don't want that in her life" She said All Mark could think was what have I done. I might've just ruined my chances of ever having her forgive me. With that he called someone in his office "Nick I need you to track down Courtney Steeple for me." He said "Who is that sir? If you don't mind me asking. "Nick asked "She's my wife if you must know." He replied back "Ok on it sir. When I find out I'll give you a call should take an hour or so." Nick said
